(Clearwisdom.net) A few days ago, an incident took place that made me realize something. Although some people do not respond as we clarify the truth to them, their knowing sides likely digest and retain the information nevertheless.
The incident involved a relative of mine, a woman in her 70s. She seemed absent-minded in the past when we clarified the truth to her, so I rarely mentioned Falun Dafa to her after that.
Yesterday, she went down to her cellar to fetch some vegetables. As she was coming up the stairs and had almost reached the top, she tripped and fell back down the stairs. She screamed for help as she coughed up blood, unable to move. Nobody else was home, so she was fortunate that someone heard her and got help.
My mother went to see her as soon as she heard. The woman told my mother, "After I fell, I was spitting up blood. I was very scared and realized this was serious. However, I suddenly remembered that you told me to say "Falun Dafa is good" if I ever got into trouble. So I kept saying it in my heart, and it turned out that I was fine. Later, I found out that the blood I spat out was from my gums. I hadn't broken any bones after all. It was your Master who saved my life." My mother replied, "Yes. At such an age, most people cannot take a fall like that. Our Master has saved many lives. Master is so compassionate." The woman even urged my mother to talk to her daughter-in-law, to encourage her to learn Dafa.
Another time, a cousin always refused to listen when my mother tried to clarify the truth to her. However, one day when I was talking to her, she said, "I know Falun Dafa is good. Whenever I feel ill or get into trouble, I immediately remember to say "Falun Dafa is good."
When clarifying the truth we should not get frustrated when people do not acknowledge us right away. We should not be affected by superficial things. Although a person seems unaffected, his or her knowing side may have already accepted the truth. As all life, down to the most microscopic particles, was created by Dafa, everyone has a knowing side. Even though their human side may sometimes be confused, when their lives are in danger, they can awaken. So when we clarify the truth, we should not be affected by any illusions. We should continue our efforts, and do more.
