(Clearwisdom.net) The powerful earthquake on May 12, 2008 that hit Wenchuan County in Sichuan Province caused heavy losses of human life. I was on my way to work when the earthquake happened but did not notice anything unusual. My colleagues told me that they all felt the quake to differing degrees. Sofas and tables shook, water in glasses sloshed, and the glasses themselves trembled.

At 2:30 p.m. I stood in front of a window, looking at the crowd of people milling about in an open space. My heart was heavy. I recalled that I had a similar dream whenever I was not diligent in my cultivation: Lightning flashed and thunder rumbled in black clouds. The last moment has arrived, and everything will end in an instant. Crowds of people on the road are so panic-stricken that they shout and run aimlessly. They have no idea how to escape this catastrophe. Their lives are plunged into total despair. I stand at a crossroads, hurriedly calling people to enter a small room, a safe place. Every time I awoke from this dream, tears ran down my face as I thought of the miserable plight of these lives that were totally destroyed.

I dare not slack off a bit and always remind myself that I should try my best to offer salvation to people. I should not feel regret when the Fa-rectification of the human world truly arrives, because I have let go of everything to the greatest extent and have done what I was supposed to do, for the sake of people's salvation.

The earthquake also made me think of something else, that is, some remote mountainous areas and villages, particularly the places where there are few Falun Gong practitioners, may be the blank areas and the weakest places for us in terms of explaining the facts about Falun Gong to local people. The old forces have long made those arrangements to weed out and destroy sentient beings, but Master's Fa-rectification is to save sentient beings. If we do not seize the time to help those people learn the facts, all kinds of factors will weed out these lives the old forces had arranged prior to the last moment when the Fa rectifies the human world.

Our mission is sacred and difficult. If we do well, kings, lords, and their sentient beings in numerous cosmic spaces and great firmaments will be saved. If we slack off and are not diligent, countless lives will be eliminated. We should have cultivated better, being even more steadfast and compassionate, and those annihilated lives should have had an opportunity to stay with our powerful righteous thoughts. What we have done is far from enough.

Then what are we waiting for? What do we rely on? We are the hope for sentient beings and the guarantee for them to walk into the future. They are waiting for us, but have we tried our best with our greatest compassion to offer them salvation?

Let us work out the best methods and present an enlightened being's enormous compassion and cherish every life.

Master has almost exhausted everything for all sentient beings. We are the lives created by Dafa. We should let go of all our human notions and seize the time to save people, for the sake of the future of sentient beings. To truly do as Master requires of us, we should go wherever there are people. We should bring Dafa's good message to those who have not learned the facts and leave Dafa's compassion for every life. We should think it over: which areas and which groups of people have we not paid attention to in our efforts; where we have not done enough, and where we can still do even better?

When we eventually meet with great, revered Master and face immeasurable sentient beings, everyone of our Dafa practitioners can say, "I do not have any regrets. I have done what I was supposed to do." That would be the most remarkable.
