(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, Secretary of the Chinese Communist Political and Judiciary Committee Zhou Yongkang has conducted disruptions of events overseas, such as the Global Human Rights Torch Relay and rallies that voiced support for Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. Through overseas intelligence organizations, such as Chinese community organizations and Chinese students and scholars associations under the Chinese Communist regime's control, Zhou Yongkang has incited hatred and directed thugs to initiate conflict in San Francisco, New York, and Hong Kong, attacking Chinese people who attended such events.
Zhou Yongkang, former head of the Public Security Bureau, was one of the masterminds behind instigating the persecution of Falun Gong. Lawsuits have been brought against him in several democratic countries for crimes of torture and crimes against humanity.
On the afternoon of Saturday May 17, the Quit the CCP Service Center hosted a rally at the Flushing Library in support of 36 million courageous people who have withdrawn from the CCP organizations. Zhou Yongkang instructed CCP officials to gather special agents and disrupt the event using violence. During the incident, a 70-year-old retired engineer was beaten. According to a witness at the scene, one of the thugs was calling for more "helpers" on the phone, saying, "Hurry up and get some more people! $90 per person!"
According to witnesses, a few days prior to this incident, the Chinese Embassy directed special agents to cause disruptions at another Quit the CCP rally in New York. They had notified media with close ties to the CCP to report on it. A number of these media outlets, which had never appeared at such an event and refused for many years to report on rallies in support of withdrawals from the CCP, suddenly appeared on site prior to the incident. The New York World Daily newspaper alone sent three reporters in anticipation of an incident.
CCTV stations and other Chinese Communist state-controlled media promptly made false accusations that claimed supporters of the Quit CCP movement "do not care for victims of the disaster" and "do not love China." Such reports have deceived many Chinese people and incited hatred against Falun Gong practitioners.
Participants at the rally also discovered that the orchestrators of this incident were actively encouraging people to join in the disruption. The organizers arranged people with Chinese flags and other items to create a scene for the CCTV reporters.
