(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, May 17, 2008, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Political and Judiciary Committee Secretary Zhou Yongkang planned and directed an incident in the USA, where the CCP's agents and spies made public trouble in New York City. CCP officials urged people to violently attack those attending a peaceful rally held in Flushing, New York. The rally was held to support the 36 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The CCP turned its scoundrel behavior loose on free foreign soil, claiming that "Falun Gong makes trouble for New York Chinese people trying to donate money for the Sichuan earthquake disaster." The CCP publicly tells lies to deceive the Chinese people who are currently overwhelmed by the national tragedy.
People may ask, why, at a time of national tragedy, does the CCP not try its best to rescue victims of the earthquake disaster, but instead behaves like a hooligan and deceives the general public in China; why is it so?
Actually, many people have seen through the CCP's tricks. The CCP is taking advantage of Chinese people's feelings of grief and loss to incite hatred against Falun Gong and divert people's attention from the disaster. It attempts to have people forget that it is the CCP's corruption that has caused the heavy casualties in the earthquake and the deaths of so many schoolchildren.
People now realize that those schoolchildren killed during the earthquake were victims of "tofu" -- soft and shoddily constructed buildings. By comparison, the buildings of the CCP regime officials at different levels are as splendid as a royal palace. The CCP officials use public funds for wining and dining and traveling abroad. Current CCP officials and retired CCP senior officials squander the hard-won money of ordinary Chinese people. There is also graft and embezzlement and trade of power and money among the CCP officials at different levels. The regime's corruption and dereliction of duty are the actual killers of these innocent schoolchildren. The parents whose children were killed are so angry that they are demanding that the relevant personnel accept their responsibility in the tragedy.
The autocratic regime has made preservation of its power the top priority, and has no regard for people's lives and property. Many people have noticed that personnel affiliated with the governmental departments and military industrial enterprises in the earthquake zone sustained little loss. They all received prior notice, warning of the earthquake. All the mines and state-owned enterprises that make money for the regime were notified to temporarily stop working. Even the schools that officials' children attended also received an urgent notice to evacuate immediately. All this has stirred up people's discontent and rage toward the CCP.
More and more signs and evidence comes to light that the CCP had learned about the earthquake beforehand, but did not reveal it to the public. The heavy casualties the earthquake left behind are basically a CCP-caused, man-made disaster. The CCP is unable to face people's rage for a thorough investigation over the "Earthquake Gate Incident."
Of course, unmasking the CCP's evil does not begin with this devastating earthquake in Sichuan Province. The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party unveiled the CCP's false colors and triggered a massive trend and nationwide campaign to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The trend has inspired at least 37 million Chinese people to renounce the CCP. Coupled with the people's rage over the latest CCP man-made disaster - the Sichuan earthquake - people can sense the CCP's panic and despair. That is why the CCP is up to its old tricks, finding ways to cover up the facts and confuse the public. The Party attempts to divert people's attention from the disaster, and take advantage of people's emotions of grief to incite hatred. It attempts to make people, who have not learned the truth and who are deceived by the CCP's lies, hate Falun Gong, just as it did in concocting the "Tiananmen Square Self Immolation" incident in 2001.
The CCP not only deprives Chinese people of the right to know the truth, the right to speak and to practice one's belief and other rights guaranteed by the Chinese Constitution, but also ignores U.S. law and openly dispatched its spies into the United States to undermine the American people's enjoyment of their rights to freedom of speech and assembly. Such an act has definitely incurred righteous people's condemnation.
