Solemn Declaration
When I went to the Chinese Embassy to apply for a passport extension in 2004, I was refused. Because my attachment was not removed, plus my fear and jealousy, I let down my guard and asked the embassy personnel why they gave some other practitioners an extension but did not give me an extension. As a result, they recorded the other practitioners' names. I felt very bad. When I was accused by a fellow practitioner I did not maintain my xinxing and I unintentionally insulted him. When other practitioners shared their thoughts with me, I became irritated and said that I do not practice. I solemnly declare that the actions I took under the evil spirit's control are all null and void. All of my words and deeds that went against Teacher and Dafa are null and void. I will steadfastly believe in Teacher and firmly cultivate Dafa, become determined to give up my attachments and become a genuine Dafa disciple.

I am 76 years old. Around 10 p.m. on May 23, 2005, I was at home alone. The chief of the local police station led over ten police to rush into my home. They snatched my Dafa books and the audio tapes of Teacher's lectures. I tried to protect them, but a policeman pushed me down to the bed, and cuffed both my hands behind my back. A bone in my hand was fractured and my wrist was swollen. They imprisoned me in the local police station.
At midnight they sent me to a brainwashing class. At this time they brutally tortured me in both body and spirit. Every day they forced me to watch a video that attacked and slandered Dafa. Later on I was imprisoned in a small room and was forced to watch a video that made false charges against Dafa, and slandered Teacher. Because I could not bear it in my body and spirit, and the pressure was too big, I went against my will to write a guarantee statement. I am deeply humbled by Dafa and Teacher's mercy. I am very sorry. I solemnly declare that the guarantee statement I wrote is null and void. I will start anew, study the Fa well, require myself to strictly do the three things well, listen to Teacher's words and go home with Teacher.
