(Clearwisdom.net) The "Quit the CCP" Service Center of Sydney, Australia, organized a rally and a Great-Wall-of-Truth in Sydney's Chinatown on June 14, 2008. The events were to support the 38 million Chinese that have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations and to condemn the CCP for directing its overseas Chinese organizations to and hire thugs to surround the Quit the CCP Service Center in Flushing, New York, and attack volunteer workers and Falun Gong practitioners at the service center. Rally participants laid bare the CCP's plot to shift the attention of the Chinese people away from the recent disaster by attempting to frame Falun Gong and deceive the world. The spokesperson of the Australia Falun Dafa Association, former Chinese diplomat Chen Yonglin, and Director of Sydney Quitting CCP Service Center Mr. Lu Zhenlei spoke at the rally.

While the rally was going on, service center volunteers formed a "Great-Wall-of-Truth" by holding banners and display boards along George Street, enumerating the many disasters wrought by the CCP and sending the message that "Being Patriotic to the Communist Party Is Not Patriotism," "Without the Communist Party, There Will Be a New China," "Heaven Will Eliminate the CCP, Heaven Blesses China." The Quit the CCP Service Center set up a large flat screen TV to play a video showing CCP- controlled thugs attacking volunteers at the Quit the CCP Service Center in Flushing, New York.

The Flushing incident has raised awareness in Australia and the rally was an opportunity for more people to learn the truth. Many people took the special edition truth-clarification flyer about the Flushing incident. Righteous people signed their names on the form to express their support.

Mr. Lu Zhenlei from the Sydney Quit the CCP Service Center read an excerpt from a report from the Committee to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG). The report revealed that the incident was directed by Zhou Yong Kang, a member of the CCP politburo. Since the killing of Tibetans in March 2008, many in the world have decided to boycott the Beijing Olympics. Then came the earthquake in Sichuan Province. The CCP wanted to shift the focus from away its failures, so it ordered the Friendship Association of Chinese Scholars and Students, pro-CCP overseas Chinese organizations, CCP controlled media, and its embassies and consulates to jointly attack volunteers and Falun Gong practitioners and fabricate news to frame Falun Gong.

In a published phone conversation between a CIPFG investigator and Consul Peng Keyu of the Chinese Consulate in New York, Peng admitted that the Chinese Consulate was behind and had orchestrated the attacks and attempts to frame Falun Gong. In Peng's own words, the attack was because "Falun Gong is against the Communist Party. It actually has nothing to do with quake relief activities."

Mr. Lu called on the US government to start an investigation of the Flushing incident and urged overseas Chinese not to be deceived by the CCP and to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations to show their patriotism.

Chen Yonglin: Quit the CCP's overseas organizations as well as the CCP itself

Former Chinese diplomat Chen Yonglin said that the incident exposed the fact that the wave of resignations really frightens the CCP. "Quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations is a movement of conscience. The Chinese are spiritually awakening." He also called on overseas Chinese to withdraw not only from the CCP but also from its overseas organizations. "Students should withdraw from FACSS, and Chinese students and overseas Chinese should withdraw from pro-communist Chinese organizations and so-called fellowship associations."

Chen said the earthquake in Sichuan was not only a natural disaster but also a man-made disaster. Under the CCP's autocracy, Chinese people have suffered numerous disasters and death.

John Deller: Know the truth and spread the truth

Australian Falun Dafa Association spokesperson Mr. John Deller gave a speech at the rally. He explained what Falun Gong is and why the CCP launched the persecution against Falun Gong resulting in thousands of practitioners being tortured to death. "Nine years have passed and the persecution is still going on in China. But Falun Gong practitioners have been clarifying truth to the world the entire time, and so far over 38 million Chinese have learned the truth and withdrawn from CCP and its affiliated organizations. I think if you have learned the truth, you have the duty to let the people around you know the truth of what is happening inside China."

At the rally, host Ms. Yuan said people should look for the truth and not miss their chance. "Heaven will eliminate the CCP. Please withdraw from it and not to go down with it." She also mentioned that the Sydney Police Department called her the day after the Flushing incident. Officers told her that if the CCP tried to attack them in Sydney, they should call the police for assistance and that the police would be waiting nearby. "We support you and wish you good luck," the policeman said.
