(Clearwisdom.net) The earthquake which occurred on May 12 in Sichuan Province caused huge losses to people's lives and property. From the very beginning, many people thought that it was not only a natural disaster, but also a man-made disaster. The deaths of those innocent children was a direct result of the corruption of those CCP officials. At the same time, it also exposed some severe problems that have existed for years in the educational system.
On the afternoon of May 13, after the earthquake, when a reporter from the Chengdu Business Newspaper raised a question during the State Council press conference , the CCTV's live broadcast was suddenly interrupted. Before the interruption, a reporter from Singapore's United Morning News asked, "Mr. Zhang Hongwei (the spokesman from China Earthquake Administration), we received reports from seven staff members of the Sichuan Seismological Bureau saying that their relatives noticed some earthquake signs a few days before the earthquake. But their relatives said in order to guarantee a safe security situation before the Olympics, their work unit prevented them from leaking the news about a potential earthquake. I want to ask Mr. Zhang Hongwei, could you forecast such a magnitude earthquake? What's your opinion of these reports? Thank you."
It was a critical issue whether or not the governmental departments received any warnings of the earthquake beforehand. Now, more and more evidence proves that the governmental departments did receive the earthquake experts' sufficient warning before the quake. More over, the military put in some prevention methods in their nuclear devices before the quake. However the CCP concealed the forecast news about the quake to the general public.
I. Experts from many countries sent out earthquake warning in July 2007
The U.S. National Geographic magazine published an article on May 16, 2008. (URL: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/05/080516-earthquake-predicted.shtml )
As early as ten months ago, in July 2007, a report by scientists from Europe, the United States and China warned that China would face a huge earthquake.
The U.S. National Geographic magazine reported on May 16, 2008, saying that a thesis published in July 2007 (ten months ago) in the Tectonics magazine forecast an earthquake in Sichuan Province, China.
In the middle of July 2007, the well-known international geographic magazine Tectonics published an article pointing out that experts from China, Europe, and the United States saying that "The faults are sufficiently long to sustain a strong ground-shaking earthquake, making them potentially serious sources of regional seismic hazard." Their conclusion was that the seismic energy from the bumping of critical layers was centered in north Sichuan, which would be released in the form of an earthquake. (See picture below the Mid-July Vol. 2007 from the Tectonics, a snap shot of the abstract of the article) URL: http://www.agu.org/pubs/crossref/2007/2006TC001987.shtml
Mid-July Vol. of 2007, Tectonics published an abstract article.
Special attention needs to be paid to this article in that among the six authors of this article, the 3rd and the 4th authors are researchers from Chengdu, China: The 3rd author of this article is Professor Yong Li, who is from the National Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation, Chengdu University of Technology, Chengdu, Sichuan, China; the 4th author of the article is Zhou Rongjun, who is an engineer from Sichuan Provincial Seismological Bureau. He is also a member of the No. 6 Council of Seismological Society of Sichuan Province.
Some analysts from abroad pointed out that this important thesis indicates some severe areas, including China's nuclear devices (in Sichuan province) and satellite and space base (located in Gansu Province). This thesis written by researchers from several countries signaling a severe earthquake warning should have been given high alert status and special attention should have been given to the government and military related departments in those related counties.
II. Xinhua News Agency published a piece of news on May 20, exposing the truth.
Now there are more and more articles on the Internet revealing that the CCP concealed the news about the earthquake predictions. Among them was a piece of news published on May 20 by Xinhua News Agency, which reported that Lu Hao, the Party Secretary of Gansu Province and Chairman of the People's Congress Standing Committee said Gansu Seismological Bureau did forecast the Wenchuan earthquake. This is direct evidence that the CCP had advance knowledge that there would be an earthquake, but they did not inform the public. This piece of news was quickly removed from the web site of Xinhua News Agency (due to reasons that everyone knows). The luckiest thing is that with the help of Internet friends, we found a snap shot of that article. (see picture below)
The news from Xinhua News Agency on May 20 said Gansu Provincial Seismological Bureau had forecast Wenchuan's Earthquake (see a snapshot from Baidu)
From this piece of news from the Xinhua News Agency, we can get the following two points:
1). Gansu Provincial Seismological Bureau has a "very strong scientific and seismological capability and seismological forecasting capability," "Before and after the 8.0- magnitude earthquake in Wenchuan, Sichuan Province, Gansu Provincial Seismological Bureau did a lot of work. They sent a forecast report before the Sichuan earthquake." Can you imagine Sichuan Provincial Seismological Bureau not having the same kind of capability to forecast the Sichuan earthquake? Moreover, two of the seismological scientists are from Sichuan Province (Young Li from the National Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation, Chengdu University of Technology, Chengdu, Sichuan, China; Zhou Rongjun is an engineer from Seismological Bureau of Sichuan Province, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China), and are the co-authors of that important thesis in Tectonics magazine. From this we believe that Sichuan Provincial Seismological Bureau should also have made a more accurate forecast of this recent Sichuan earthquake. Above, we mentioned a reporter from Singapore's United Morning News who raised a question at the State Council News Conference, which also did not directly verify that Sichuan Provincial Seismological Bureau had forecast the recent Sichuan earthquake.
2). Gansu Provincial Seismological Bureau "did forecast beforehand the trend of this recent Sichuan earthquake and reported the forecast results to the provincial government and local Communist Party. That is to say that the Gansu provincial government and local Communist Party had already received the seismological experts' more accurate earthquake forecasting beforehand. However, due to the rules defined by the Chinese government, only the Central Government can send out earthquake warnings. Since Gansu's earthquake forecasting was beyond their administrative limit, the Gansu Provincial Government and the local Communist Party could not make such a decision and therefore they reported to the Central Government. So, the Sichuan Provincial Seismological Bureau should also have sent their forecast report to the Central Government.
Therefore, this piece of news from Xinhua News Agency has no doubt revealed that before the Sichuan earthquake, the Central Politburo of China at least received a more accurate forecast warning about the earthquake from the Gansu provincial government and the local Communist Party.
Besides this, now the news on the Internet from abroad also reveals that related experts' group from China Earthquake Administration prepared a comparably accurate forecast before the earthquake based on some related working procedure requirement and handed it to the State Council and requested to announce the earthquake forecast warning.
Li Shihui, a Visiting Research Fellow at Key Laboratory of Engineering Geo-mechanics, Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Science, revealed that Geng Qingguo, a geology expert, who once accurately forecast the Tangshan Earthquake in 1976, clearly forecast the danger of about a magnitude 7 earthquake taking place in the Aba area 10 days prior to or after May 8, 2008 and sent his report in a secret document to the authorities on April 30.
Therefore, the CCP did receive an accurate earthquake forecast from many channels beforehand. That fact has been well established. Internet sources say that one of the government leaders decided not to announce the earthquake warnings, using as the excuse of security of the Olympics.
III. The evidence from Chinese media reports.
Besides this, there is evidence from some media reports in China, which also agree that the CCP knew the earthquake forecast warning beforehand. For instance, on May 19, an article published in the Southern Worker's Daily in Guangzhou, China. The title of the article is about "A Three minute discussion results in happiness, averts sadness." (See a snap hot of the article which has already been removed from the web site.) One hour before the earthquake, a school in Wenchuan received an emergency notice about the earthquake. Therefore, the teachers quickly took the students to a safer place and avoided any possible casualties.
On May 19, the Southern Worker's Daily in Guangzhou, China evidently reported that a school in Wenchuan received an emergency notice one hour before the earthquake. (see Internet picture below)
Xiamen Evening News reported on May 14 (see a Baidu snap shot below, the article has been removed from that web site), in Xiamen University of Technology, a student named Wang Xiuyue from Sichuan Province said her family members in Sichuan received notice from Guangyuan local government, Sichuan Province before the earthquake and they moved to a safer location.
After the related reports were removed from the Southern Worker's Daily and Xiamen Evening News, some people began to "clarify the rumors." But the snapshot image from the Southern Worker's Daily cannot be removed by the so-called clarifying the rumor.
On May 19, an article from the Southern Worker's Daily in Guangzhou, China, reported that one school from Wenchuan received emergency notice one hour before the earthquake. (See a snap shot below)
IV. Chinese people are kept in the dark
Recently media from abroad reported that many people in China reported to their government or local appeal offices that: the governmental departments and military industries in the area of the earthquake did not have too many losses. They all received warnings before the earthquake. Those mines that brought money to the government and some national industries also received notice to temporarily close their businesses. Even some schools attended by official's children were asked to move to a safer place. Some officials said privately, "People in China are living a sad life. They are kept in the dark and do not even know what's going on before a life threatening disaster."
V. The CCP concealed the earthquake situation, which led to severe casualties
According to current evidence, people should be aware that the CCP concealed the experts' forecast information of the earthquake, and deprived people of their right to know the truth, which left the people in the disaster area without any preparation (except those who received a warning notice before the earthquake). Therefore, it is accurate to say that the severe casualties caused by the Sichuan Earthquake are in fact a man-made disaster caused by the CCP. The CCP's corruption, combined with their depriving people of their right to know the truth, resulted in the deaths of the students who died during the earthquake.
