At the end of February 2008, He Baoyu and five other policemen from Yulin Public Security Bureau in Guangxi Province came in two cars to Ms. Yao Huping's home. They threatened her family members, saying that they would arrest her, sentence her, "transform" her and also stop her wages. They continued to harass her family for several days. Yao Huping (over 50 years old) and her 88-year-old mother were thus forced to leave their home and wander about homeless.

The people sent by the Chinese Communist Party went to harass Yao Huping's brother at his home, and were trying to find out her whereabouts. They even climbed up a ladder and looked through the window of her home. It was said that one night, lights were on in Yao huping's home, possibly indicating that some CCP members had entered her place by illegal means.

Since practicing Falun Gong, Yao Huping's mother, Long Qifeng, has become very healthy. In October of 1999, Long Qifeng went to Beijing to appeal, and was illegally detained for seventeen days at Yulin Detention Center. In February 2001, when Long Qifeng came back to Yulin from Guilin, the deputy director of the Yulin Police Station deceived her into going to the police station, and she was then detained at the Yulin No. 2 Detention Center for a month.

Yao Huping's elder brother Yao Wusheng (over 60 years old) is a retired maintenance worker at Gulin Railway Bureau. He has been to Beijing twice to appeal for Falun Gong. He was repeatedly persecuted by his work unit and Liuzhou Railway Public Security Officer Feng Jingning. His home was searched, some of his property was confiscated, and he was arrested and twice sent to a forced labor camp. The duration of the first labor camp sentence was two years. He was released on bail for medical treatment due to the severe persecution by personnel of Nanning District No.1 Labor Camp. The second labor camp sentence was for three years. There, he was persecuted until he was critically ill, and was released on bail for medical treatment. He is still not able to take care of himself even to this day.

Yao Huping's 48-year-old younger sister Yao Nanping is a staff member of Yulin Railway Station. She was previously a cancer patient. After learning Falun Gong, her illness was cured. After the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, the CCP members at her work unit started to persecute her, and tried to force her to give up her belief in Falun Gong. In order to validate the Fa, Yao Nanping decided to go to Beijing at the beginning of October 1999. But when she arrived in Guilin, she was arrested on the train, and was sent to Yulin Detention Center for 15 days. At the end of October, Yao Nanping went with her mother to Beijing to appeal for Dafa, and was again detained for several months at Yulin Detention Center. After she was released, she was forced by her work unit to resign from her job. In 2001, she was sent to a labor camp for two years. In 2003, she was again sent to a labor camp for three years. In May 2006, after she showed a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to a colleague at work, she was reported by that colleague. Because of this, staff members from Section One of the Nanning Railway Public Security Office, Yulin Criminal Investigation Team, Yulin Railway Police Station and Yulin City Police Station were waiting outside her home. As soon as she came back from outside, they grabbed her key, opened the door of her home, and started to search her place. They confiscated more than 10,000 yuan worth of property, including a computer, printer, photocopier, MP3s, electronic book and materials. Yao Nanping was sentenced to five years of imprisonment by Nanning Railway Court. She is still locked up in Nanning Women's Prison.

Yao Huping (over 50 years old), a retired worker of Railway Fourth Bureau, has lived at Wuchang Kongsi Compound in Wuhan City ever since she retired. On April 25, 1999, she was forced to leave Kongsi due to persecution. Her husband divorced her, and she went to Guangxi Province, living with her mother at Yulin Railway. At the beginning of October 1999, she went to Beijing to validate the Fa, and was detained at Beijing Fengtian Detention Center for about ten days. In December of the same year, she went to Beijing for the second time to validate the Fa, and she was illegally detained at Wuhan Detention Center for a month. In September of 2000, officers of Section One of the Yuzhou District Public Security Bureau and Yulin City Police Station arrested her and searched her home. She was detained at Yulin No. 2 Detention Center for over a month.

At the end of 2000, Yao Huping was arrested by Guiping Police while distributing truth-clarification materials, and she was detained at the Guiping Drug Rehabilitation Center for over a month. Later, she was transferred to Yulin No.2 Detention Center where she was questioned by the Yulin Criminal Investigation Team for several days and nights and deprived of sleep. Yao Huping was arrested, and before there was any result from the court session, she was sentenced to three years at Nanning Women's Labor Camp and forced to do labor. They also had people closely watching her, and didn't let her go back to her room to sleep for ten days. Because Yao Huping refused to give up her belief in Falun Gong, they extended her terms of imprisonment. After she finished serving her three-year-term, she was illegally sent to Wuchang Yangyuan Brainwashing Center for over four months by Baishazhou police officers in Wuchang, where she had her residence registered. In the brainwashing center, she suffered inhuman torture such as being hung up, not being allowed to use the toilet while having her menstrual period, having people closely watching her, being deprived of sleep for many days, and not being allowed to wash herself, etc.

On the night of February 10, 2008, Yao Huping and Ms. Liu Xiaoxin went to Yulin Diesel Engine Factory to distribute truth-clarification materials, and were arrested by policemen from Huannan Police Station. They were released after one day and one night. After more than ten days, policeman He Baoyu and others from Yuzhou District Public Security Bureau again harrassed Yao Huping. Yao Huping and her 88-year-old mother had to leave their home and wander about homeless. Liu Xiaoxin was detained at Yulin No.1 Detention Center, and was illegally sentenced to one year at a labor camp. On March 17, she was sent to Nanning Women's Labor Camp.

The Persecution Experienced by Guangxi Yulin Railway Falun Gong Practitioner Liu Xiaoxin

Ms. Liu Xiaoxin (40 years old) never married. Before she started to practice Falun Gong, Liu Xiaozin suffered from serious illnesses, and was not able to take care of herself. She had visited several hospitals, but the hospital treatment not only didn't help her, but her condition actually got worse. Yulin Orthopaedics Hospital diagnosed her with a degenerative bone condition. She had an operation in order to repair her bones. After she staying in the hospital for several months, she returned home, but could not turn her body over while in bed. Soon after this, she received her Handicapped Certificate. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1998. After several months, she was able to take care of herself. It was Falun Gong that gave her a second life.

In October of 2000, Liu Xiaoxin went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. On her way to Liuzhou, she was arrested by the railway police, and was illegally detained at Liuzhou Railway Detention Center for a week. After she was released, her home was searched, and her Dafa books were confiscated by He Baoyu and Liang Gan from Section One of Yuzhou District Public Security Bureau and deputy director Su of Yuzhou City Police Station. Before New Year's Day in 2001, those three people went to her home, arrested her, and again searched her home. She was detained at Yulin No.2 Detention Center. Over one month later, she was detained at a brainwashing center again for over one month before she was released.

One evening in September 2006, after 7 p.m., while Liu Xiaoxin was putting up truth-clarification posters, she was reported by a security person and was arrested by Huannan police. She was released the same night.

On February 10, 2008, Liu Xiaoxin's home was searched after she was found distributing truth-clarification materials at Yuchai. The next day, she was detained at Yulin No.1 Detention Center. When her family members went to ask for her, the police said that they would not release her because she refused to write a guarantee statement. One month later, Liu Xiaoxin was sentenced to one year of forced labor and was detained at Nanning Women's Labor Camp. She firmly upholds her belief in Dafa. When her family went to visit her, the labor camp didn't allow them to see her.
