In July 1999, when the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) began to persecute Falun Gong, I lived in Balinzuo County, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. I began to practice Falun Dafa around the same time. I had many illnesses, such as kidney inflammation, stomach inflammation, gynecology diseases, etc. In the first week of cultivation, my physical condition improved tremendously, all my illnesses disappeared.
However, as the persecution continued, local police began following, harassing and arresting me. As a result, I was forced to move ten times. To this day, I can't have a permanent residence, and my entire family became the victims of the persecution as well.
In June 2001, police officers Bai Suzheng, Tu Muji and another two broke into my home, ransacked it, confiscating my tape recorder and exercise tapes. They also tried to have me sign a document, but I refused. After that, they took me to the police bureau, where I was illegally detained for one evening. I was also forced to stand for a long time, and was forbidden to sleep. They also illegally forced me to write a "guarantee" to give up the practice. I refused. A police officer by the last name Zhang and a female police officer forced me to tell them fellow practitioners' names, and I had to to leave my hometown to work to avoid further persecution.
During the Chinese New Year I came back home. My mother-in-law did not dare to keep me at home because police officers often came to her home to harass her. So I had to stay at the student residence building, where I was observed by police officers Zhang Guangsheng and Jiang Haishan. They ambushed the residence.
Under this situation in which I had no way-out, I had to leave my hometown again. Just a few days after I went to a different city, police officer Zhang Shun, another police officer by the last name of Zhang and another two police officers drove to that city, and forced me to write the Three Statements. I refused. The police officers snatched my identification card, and then they took me to the local police station to "transform" me.
It was November at that time. In order to force me to confess practitioners' names and where the materials were from, for one evening, they handcuffed me to a bed with no blanket or bed sheet on it. It was in 2002, and I was detained like this for 32 days. Because of my detention, my husband who worked in a different city outside of our hometown was dismissed from his job after having worked there for more than 10 years. Then he went back home, and made a living through doing simple labor work. Zhang often went to our home to harass him - he also informed people from the local community center to go to our home to harass him.
In the fall of 2003, four police officers led by the head of police - Zhao - broke into our home again, with no justification, and they took me and another two practitioners to Chifeng brainwashing center (euphemistically named the "Law Enforcement Education Center"). At that time, over 30 practitioners from each county were detained there and were subjected to forced brainwashing. Videotapes defaming Dafa were played. Each practitioner was assigned two collaborators; they were not allowed to sleep until midnight, which was a tactic used to force practitioners to write the "Three Statements". Fellow practitioners and I refused to cooperate. We were detained for 16 days and then released.
From 2003 to 2008, as a result of persecution, I had to move at least 10 times. To this day, I still cannot have a permanent residence. I have also suffered a lot financially. I can only support myself by doing hard labor, which provides very low pay. My family members also suffered as well. They lost contact with me. When my son got married, he could not find his father; my father-in-law passed away amidst missing his son and daughter-in-law, and his daughter-in-law (me) had no clue that her father-in-law passed away already, so she couldn't hold any ceremony for him. One time, my husband was poisoned by natural gas. It took him much effort to climb outside and save his life.
In order to track me down, police officers have spent tremendous human and financial resources. The facts mentioned above are only part of my persecution account under the CCP.
