  1. [Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Zhaohui Persecuted

    Mr. Wang Zhaohui was taken into custody at the European-Asian Technique Town in Changchun City on April 23. He has now been "illegally sentenced" to forced labor and detained in the Fourth Team of Changchun Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp.

    At 9:00 a.m., Ms. Yu Xiuying, 55, and Ms. Fan Xiuying, 52, were reported when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials in Libukou County, Chuanhui District, and taken away by police from Zhoukou City. They are currently being held in the Xiangcheng Detention Center. The person responsible was Gu Xiaobiao, phone number 86-13838621993.

  3. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qi Huishu, Ms. Li Shuyun, and Ms. Liang Qi Arrested

    At around 9:00 a.m. on May 24, more than ten policemen from the National Security Team, Section One in the Public Security Bureau, Xinhua Police Station in Shuncheng District, Fushun City, broke into the home of Ms. Qi Huishu and illegally arrested her. They ransacked her home, her parent's home, and her elder brother's home, confiscating Master's portrait and all the Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials, computers, printers, TVs, and recorders. She is now detained in Nangou Detention Center.

    Around 10:00 a.m., police also arrested Ms. Li Shuyun and Ms. Liang Qi.

  4. [Dengfeng City, Henan Province] Ms. Sun Ximei Arrested

    Ms. Sun Ximei, 41, from Yingyang Town, Dengfeng City, was reported when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials in Yingyang Town on the evening of June 6. She was taken into custody by police stationed in Yingyang Tow, and then transferred to Dengfeng City Detention Center.

  5. [Fuxin County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Yuping Arrested

    At about 6:20 p.m. on May 29, Ms. Zhang Yuping, 46, from Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County was taken from home by police from the Fumeng County National Security Team and Chengdong Police Station. They confiscated Dafa books, Master's portraits, truth-clarifying materials, and VCD players. Ms. Zhang now is detained in Fumeng County Detention Center and went on a hunger strike against the persecution.

  7. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yuan Ting and Her Sister Arrested

    At the beginning of 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yuan Ting and her sister in Harbin City, were found distributing truth-clarifying materials by monitors. Ms. Yuan Ting's sister was taken away. Yuan Ting escaped with righteous thoughts. She was not allowed back to work and became homeless.
    On May 27, people from Harbin City Public Security Bureau and her department, called Yuan Ting and cheated her into coming back to work. Afterwards Yuan Ting was detained in the police station.

  8. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhou Hua and His Son Arrested

    Retiree Mr. Zhou Hua in Tai Steel Company, 56 years old, was reported when distributing truth-clarifying materials. At 11:00 p.m. on June 2, police in Haozhuang Police Station broke into the home of Zhou Hua, confiscating Dafa books, a computer, two printers, 180,000 yuan in cash. In the morning of June 3, police abducted Zhou Hua and his son. They were detained in Taiyuan City Yingze Detention Center.

    At 8:00 a.m. on May 13, Security policeman in Huachuan County (former 610 Office agent), Jia You, and another five policemen in Hengtoushan Town Police Station, broke into home of Ms. Zhang Hong in Hengtoushan Town, confiscating satellite receiver and other things.

    Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Qu (74 years old), Mr. Diao Guanghui and his wife in Shijingshan District, Beijing were taken from their home on June 2. Police confiscated computers, Dafa books and materials.

  14. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Justice Department Director Mr. Li Zhijian Taken to a Brainwashing Center

    On June 5, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Zhijian, director of the Justice Department in Sima Rural, Jinxiang County, Jining City, was taken to the Jinan Brainwashing Center and detained by the 610 Office in Jinxiang County. His son, a non-practitioner, was also arrested in order to "accompany" him.

    Mr. Li Zhijian and his wife, Ms. Li Meiying, were arrested January 6, 2008, by Xiaoyun Town police officers when the two were distributing truth-clarifying materials. They were detained in the Jinxiang County Detention Center. Ms. Li Meiying was sentenced to forced labor for one year and three months and is detained in Jinan Women's Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Li Zhijian was sentenced to five months and being held elsewhere.

  15. [Liaoyang County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Zhien and Ms. Yang Li Arrested

    Ms. Zhang Zhien in Sanchazi Village, Liuerbao Town, Liaoyang County, was arrested when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials on the evening of June 8.

    Ms. Yang Li was arrested at 6:00 a.m. on June 9.

  16. [Suning County, Hebei Province] Mr. Ku Jingjun and Ms. Ju Jingying Persecuted

    On June 4, the team leader of National Security from the public security bureau in Suning County, Zhang Ruiqiang; officers in the 610 Office; and over 20 policemen from Shangcun Town Police Station broke into homes and confiscated a car, a printer, and a set of satellite receivers from Mr. Ku Jingjun in Kuzhuang Village. They confiscated a computer, some CDs, exercise tapes, truth-clarifying materials, and Dafa books from Ms. Ju Jingying. They were both arrested and held in a detention center.

  17. [Renshou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Junqing Arrested

    Ms. Yang Junqing, 54, went to her daughter's home to clarify the truth to pupils on June 8, but was reported to the 610 Office by a teacher named Zhang. She was then arrested and is now detained in Fujiang Police Station. Her two granddaughters have no one to take care of them.

    On June 4, Ms. Chen Maoqin in Fengming Rural, Yaan City, was arrested when she was distributing truth clarifying materials at Xujiagou Mountain. She is now detained in Yaan City Duoying Detention Center.

    The police in Zhaoyuan Farm arrested practitioner Ms. Dong Xuexia on June 4 and Ms. Liu Fenglin on June 8.

  21. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Guo Qingyin Arrested

    Mr. Guo Qingyin, 46, from Wangqiao Rural, Guantao County, Handan City, was arrested on the morning of June 7 by Fangzhai Police Station officers, and his home was ransacked. He is now being held at the Guantao County Police Station.

  22. [Laishui County, Heibei Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted by Evil People in Baoding District

    On June 6, in preparation for the Olympic Games, police in the Baoding District ransacked homes of Falun Gong practitioners and arrested them. Some of the practitioners detained:

  23. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Huifang and Ms. Li Chenlian Arrested

    In June 2008, Ms. Li Huifang and Ms. Li Chenlian from the Dongfeng Car Company in Shiyan City were arrested at home by police. Dafa materials and computers were confiscated.

  24. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhou Chuanzhen Arrested

    At 2:00 p.m. on June 3, more than ten policemen suddenly broke into the home of Ms. Zhou Chuanzhen, 60, in Shiyoukuang District, Wanzhuang, Langfang City, and confiscated many Dafa books and materials. Ms. Zhou was arrested.

    Ms. Zhou Chuanzhen was retired from teaching at the No. 3 Self-established School in Huabei Oil Company. In early 2004, she was taken to a brainwashing center.

  26. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Hui Sentenced to Three Years

    On July 22, 2007, Ms. Li Hui of the Daqing Material Group was secretly sentenced to three years by the Saertu District Court in Daqing in mid-April 2008. She is still in Daqing Detention Center.

  27. [Luoyang, Henan Province] Mr. Miao Zhiguo, Ms. Zhang Jumei, Ms. Yin Zhirong, and Another Seven Falun Gong Practitioners Were Persecuted in the Luoyang City 610 Office Brainwashing Center

  28. [Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Wenfeng Poisoned in Jilin Prison

    On April 17, police in the Third Ward in Jilin Prison incited criminal inmate Li Xuebing to poison Ms. Zhang Wenfeng and insult her. Ms. Shi Wenzhou, who is also detained in the Third Ward, wrote a letter to leaders in the prison, but other inmates took revenge on her. Both Ms. Zhang and Ms. Shi were sent to the "strict team" on April 23.

  29. [Fuquan City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Tian Can Arrested

    On April 24, Mr. Tian Can and another two practitioners from southeast of Guizhou went to Yuping from Kaili by train. They were tracked and arrested by the police. Now Mr. Tian Can is in Fuquan Detention Center. His family is not allowed to visit him.

    In April 2007, Tian Can's wife and two other practitioners were arrested because they distributed truth-clarifying materials. Their homes were ransacked, and computers, printers, and 3,000 yuan cash were confiscated.

  30. [Zengcheng City, Guangdong Province] Supplemental Information on the Arrests of Practitioners Mr. Lai Borui and Ms. Liu Yuhong

    On the evening of May 8, Mr. Lai Borui and his wife, Ms. Liu Yuhong, from Zengcheng City, Guangzhou, were written up by more than ten policemen from Shitan Town Police Station and the Zengcheng 610 Office. Lai Borui refused to cooperate. The police ransacked his home and arrested Mr. Lai and his wife, Liu Yuhong, confiscating Dafa materials and computers. The couple was detained in Zengcheng Detetion Center.
