The number of Falun Gong practitioners who died under the =CCP regime's persecution is at least 3,168 now. The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) pointed out recently that the CCP has illegally arrested more than eight thousand Falun Gong practitioners under the pretext of security for the Olympics. Under such large-scale bloody persecution, Falun Gong practitioners continue their peaceful efforts to expose and end the persecution.

Practitioner Ms. Bai of Brisbane said, "The CCP brutally persecutes Chinese people. During its over fifty years in power, the CCP killed eighty million Chinese people. It even conducts organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners. We hold this event today to help stop the CCP's atrocities."

Ms. Bai also called on Chinese people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations in order to secure a safe future.

Recently, someone disclosed to Sound of Hope International Broadcasting Station that human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng had suffered brutal persecution and was in danger. Mr. Gao wrote three open letters to the CCP regime in support of Falun Gong and was arrested last year. The practitioners called for attention to Mr. Gao's plight and for people to help stop the persecution.

Many passers-by showed concern for Falun Gong. A woman named Jila from Iran was shocked at the photos exposing the CCP's torture means. She said her family was once persecuted by the government for not giving up their belief. She understood Falun Gong practitioners' plight and feelings. She said, "The CCP does not have any reason to torture people. No matter whether for one's belief, health fitness or for political reasons, no one has the right to persecute others."

Arnold from East Germany knew well the nature of the communist party. He said, "I live in a free country and know the value and importance of freedom. I am worried. It is like history returning, like the 1936 Berlin Olympics all over again. The CCP has taken advantage of the Olympics for its own political benefits. However, there are many media reporters in Beijing and China is under focus now. It is a good opportunity to expose the CCP's crimes."
