(Clearwisdom.net) With the Olympic Games in Beijing approaching, Jiamusi Prison of Heilongjiang Province is implementing a plan to intensify its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners through brainwashing, "transforming" using violence and solitary confinement and intense monitoring.
According to sources inside China, Jiamusi Prison authorities are planning to execute this plan until the end of 2008. Moreover, prison officials declare that for the duration of the the Olympic Games, they will intensify their persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally detained at the prison. The prison has currently discontinued communications from Falun Gong practitioners to outside the prison.
Jiamusi Prison is located on Lanjiangkou Farm on the outskirts of Jiamusi City in Heilongjiang Province. The prison was built at the end of 2002 and has been in operation since the beginning of 2003. The prison has six wards and each ward has four sub-wards. Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally imprisoned in these wards.
