1. [Quzhou County, Hebei Province] Police Officers Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners
On September 2, 2008, police officer Song Jiangshan and others from the Dahedao Township Police Station, Quzhou County broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Hui Xin in Suxiaoying Village. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, materials, and the Nine Commentaries, and illegally arrested her.
On September 4, 2008, five to six police officers from the Dahedao Township Police Station broke into a practitioner's home in Changzhuang Village and confiscated Falun Dafa books, truth-clarification materials and cassettes. They took the practitioner to the village police station and extorted money from the practitioner. He/she was released the next day.
2. [Liaoyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhao Chunmei Detained in Brainwashing Center
During August 8 to 12, during the Beijing Olympics, the following practitioners from Dongfeng County were taken to the Liaoyuan City brainwashing center: Ms. Zhao Chunmei, Ms. Dai Suli and Ms. Zhu Deyan.
3. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ding Lunhou Arrested
Mr. Ding Lunhou is a retired employee from the Shuncheng District 325 storehouse in Fushun City. In early July 2008, Ding Lunhou was arrested at his home and is now tortured at Wujiabao Forced Labor Camp in Fushun City.
4. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about Arrested Practitioners
On July 4, 2008, practitioners from Beihou Village, Wanghua District Mr. Zhang Weidi, Mr. Gao Shubin and Ms. Gao Jing were arrested, and detained at Shenyang Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. They received a 2-year term.
5. [Jixian County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Pengyu Detained
On the night of September 4, 2008, practitioner Mr. Liu Pengyu of Qingyang Village, Jixian County was telling people about Falun Gong and its persecution in Erbule Village. Someone who was deceived by CCP propaganda reported him. He was arrested and is detained at the Jixian County Detention Center.
6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Xiuping Arrested
In the afternoon of August 27, 2008, practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuping of Honggang District, Daqing City visited practitioner Ms. Wei Jun's in Hongwei Village, Daqing City. Police officers from the Babaishang Public Security Sub-bureau arrested her and she is detained at the Daqing City No. 1 Detention Center.
7. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xu Forced to Become Homeless
Ms. Xu is a 74-year-old retired official. She lives in the Xinfu District, Fushun City. On September 4, Ms. Xu was reported to the police because she was handing out truth-clarification materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. Police officers arrested her and took her to the Jiangjun Police Station in Fushun. Her home was ransacked and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. The police extorted money from her family. She was released. Ms. Xu has become homeless to avoid being illegally arrested.
8. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Information about Arrested Practitioners
Baishan City practitioners Ms. Mu Yihua and Ms. Liu Kai were taken to the Changchun Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp and sentenced to a one-year term and three-year term respectively.
Mr. Yu Ruihua, Ms. Ni, Mr. Zhang Min and Ms. Wang Guirong, who were arrested in Banshi Town, are imprisoned in the Baishan City Detention Center.
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about the Persecution of Mr. Xi Changhai
Police arrested Mr. Xi Changhai on September 4, 2008. On September 5, police broke into two houses belonging to his family and confiscated a copy of Zhuan Falun and a portrait of Teacher Li.
10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Arrested at Their Workplace
On September 5, 2008, practitioners Ms. Ding Xiaohua and Mr. Wang Jianhua of the Zhnogshan District were arrested at their workplace.
11. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ai Guilan Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Ai Guilan is a former employee of the Dongying City Pickle/Vegetable factory. Around July 14, 2008, police arrested her for distributing truth-clarification materials about the persecution of Falun Gong in Kenli County. She was sentenced and taken to the Dongying City Forced Labor Camp.
12. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Yongzhen Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Yang Yongzhen, 49 years old, works in the Shancun Orchard. At 10 a.m. on September 5, 2008, four plain-clothes police arrested her at her place of work. Her tool box in workshop was searched and they found truth-clarification materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, which they confiscated.
13. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wei Shuzhen Arrested
On August 30, 2008, Ms. Wei Shuzhen of Xiaoyao Village, Likezhuang Town, Jiaozhou City was reported while she was distributing information about Falun Gong. Wei Shuzhen was arrested and detained at the Ducun Town Brainwashing Center in Jiaozhou City.
14. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Shuping Again Arrested
Ms. Yang Shuping of Wei County, Zhangjiakou City was again arrested at her home by agents from the Wei County Public Security Bureau in June 2008. She is detained at the Zhangjiakou Women's Prison.
15. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Nie Tianying and Ms. Zhang Shufang Detained at Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp
On July 26, 2008, officials from Ying Village colluded with Dingxing County Domestic Security Division. They arrested Ms. Nie Tianying and Ms. Zhang Shufang at their homes and took them to the Dingxing County Detention Center. Then, they took them to the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp at the end of August.
16. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Huang Yonggui Arrested
Ms. Huang Yonggui is about 65 years old. Police from Hupo Village arrested her when she was grocery shopping in September of 2008.
17. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Ruiling Arrested
Agents from the Zhengzhou City Public Security Bureau arrested practitioner Ms. Li Ruiling at her home in the afternoon on August 18, 2008. She is detained at the Zhengzhou City No. 2 Detention Center.
18. [Longchang County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yu Bin Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Yu Bin was arrested on August 21. Her whereabouts are unknown.
19. [Luzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Lihui Arrested
On August 21, police officers arrested Ms. Zhang Lihui of Huguo Town, Naxi District, Luzhou City at the Quba Fair. She is detained at the Anfu Detention Center in Naxi District.
20. [Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiao Zeng Arrested
On August 31, Ms. Xiao Zeng of Jiangyou City was reported to the police for spreading information about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked by security officers. She and Ms. Wu, a visitor at the time, were arrested. Their whereabouts are unknown.
21. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Shi Yawen Taken to Brainwashing Center
During the Beijing Olympic Games, Guangzhou practitioner Ms. Shi Yawen was arrested and taken to the Chatou Brainwashing Center.
22. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Practitioners Ms. Xiu Gai and Ms. Chun Yue Taken to a Forced Labor Camp
At the end of August, Guan County police arrested practitioners Ms. Xiu Gai, Ms. Chun Yue, Ms. Xing Guiling and many more. Ms. Xiu Gai and Ms. Chun Yue were sentenced to one year of forced labor and taken to Wang Village. Ms. Xing Guiling is detained at the Guan County Brainwashing Center.
23. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Zhiwu Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor
On August 8, 2008, when practitioner Mr. Wang Zhiwu was handing out information about the persecution of Falun Gong at the Handan City Brainwashing Center, policeman Li Haisheng of Wuan City sentenced him to one year of forced labor.
24. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Lu Yanling and Mr. Zhuang Ji were arrested at home on September 5, 2008.
25. [Shanghai City] Ms. Lou Xiashu Detained at Kunshan City Detention Center
On July 22, police arrested practitioner Ms. Lou Xiashu of Anting District, Shanghai City in the Xiangyang Area, Chengxiang Town, Taichang City, Jiangsu Province. She is detained at the Kunshan City Detention Center.
26. [Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Jia Hua Facing Illegal Sentence
27. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zheng Wei Arrested
In the afternoon of September 3, 2008, Tangshan practitioner Mr. Zheng Wei was reported and arrested for telling people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Lunan District. In the afternoon of the second day, three police officers from the Qiaotun Police Station ransacked his home. Mr. Zheng Wei is detained at the Tangshan City.
