(Clearwisdom.net) Three more Falun Gong practitioners from Guan County, Shandong Province were recently sent to a forced labor camp. Amongst them is a girl who has just graduated from high school and was admitted to a university.
Over the past eight months, nine practitioners in Guan County were sent to a forced labor camp. On August 27, 2008, Tang Hua, deputy head of the Politics and Law Committee in Liaocheng City, and the head of the City Comprehensive Management Office personally went to Guan County to oversee the persecution. They announced that the persecution will only get worse, becoming more pronounced and cruel.
On August 19, 2008, six practitioners from Guan County were arrested and sent to a forced labor camp. They were Xing Zhaowei, employed at the Jia Town Middle School, Cui Qiaolan from Cuipang Village, Ms. Li Xiuying from Yulintou Village, Yang Xiumei's husband from Caoli Village in Liangtang Township, Ms. Liang Shuju from Gaosanli Village in Guancheng Town and Ms. Lv Qinglan from the Guan County Credit Union. Three other practitioners were also sent to a labor camp. They are Ms. Guo Guiqiao from Jiaoquan Village in Donggucheng Town, Ms. Wan Yufen from the Guan County People's Hospital and her younger daughter Zhao Li.
Among them, Zhao Li just graduated from high school this year. Her academic results were quite good and she had been accepted by a university. When the police arrested her at Xihuan Road, Zhao Li tried very hard to resist. The police shouted that they would put her in prison and let her youth waste away there. They sent Zhao Li to Shen County for detention. Three weeks later she was transferred to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
Practitioners Cui Qiaolan, Guo Guiqiao and Li Xiuying showed symptoms of severe illness and the forced labor camp refused to accept them. But they were still detained in the Guan County brainwashing center and mistreated.
Ma Wenchang, the so-called principal of the Guan County Law School (a brainwashing center) recently aggravated the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, carrying out the orders of the Chinese Communist Party. He threatened that those who refused to renounce Falun Gong would receive longer prison terms. All practitioners there are holding a collective protest against the persecution. We hope that overseas practitioners and kind hearted people will pay attention to this matter and give a helping hand.
