Ms. Wang Liqiu Brainwashed in Jilin Women's Prison

When Ms. Wang failed to come home herself, her family searched everywhere for her. They discovered that someone was arrested near the Xiangyang local police station, so they went there to make an inquiry. The police told them that the State Security Division of the city government had arrested Ms. Wang.

Large Scale Arrests and Abuses of Dafa Practitioners in Qidong County, Hunan Province before the Beijing Olympics

(Clearwisdom.net) Before the Beijing Olympics, in Hunan Province, the 610 Office and local police stations in every township in Qidong County ordered police to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners on a large scale and illegally detain them. They illegally ransacked Dafa practitioners' homes, and confiscated Dafa books, "truth-clarification" materials and valuable personal property. The police also beat Dafa practitioners.

Ms. Liu Yanqin Tortured Severely in Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) During the time leading up to the Olympics, police officers from the Fushun City Police Department arrested many Falun Gong practitioners, and a few practitioners were temporarily detained at the Fushun City Second Detention Center. Among them was Ms. Liu Yanqin (50), from Tukouzi Township, Qingyuan County. Police officers from the Qingyuan County Police Department told her that she was to be "taken for arraignment" but instead took her back to her hometown where she was tortured for two days and a night in a detention center. The torture was so severe that Ms. Liu was hardly able to take care of herself from this point onward.
