(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Reinke, a scenic director in the film business, couldn't say enough about the high quality of the Shen Yun Performing Arts presentation at the Canon Theatre in Toronto on Sunday.
"It was a wonderful presentation. It's very well executed. I think it's magical," he said.

Mr. Reinke is also a professional artist and does interior design as well as mural painting. He greatly appreciated the high caliber of various elements of the New York-based show.
"The music is wonderful. Very well portrayed story... Adding choreography with a staged performance and a backdrop--I think it's wonderful. It's very high quality, very original. I am very impressed."
Besides portraying scenes from China's rich history, Shen Yun also presents ethnic dances, folk dances, and stories of contemporary issues in China today. Mr. Reinke praised Shen Yun's dances.
"I felt the struggle, I could feel the passion. It's very noticeable on [the dancers'] faces and it's very noticeable in the dance and in the way the actual music is portrayed."
"I am very impressed," he continued. "I feel the quality to be very very high. For instance, the stage is changing so much, from backlit backdrops to a lit screen. It's wonderful. It's something new. It's dynamic."
Mr. Rienke was also impressed by Shen Yun's symphony orchestra, which gives each dance an original score that combines both eastern and western classical instruments.
"Very stimulating. I think one of the things I enjoy very, very much too is how the artists who are actually portraying the story blend so well with the actual orchestra."
"It's a fantastic presentation. I think it's magical."
Stage Tech Praises High Caliber
Mr. Goldsmith, a photographer and stage technician, deeply appreciated the high caliber of Shen Yun's performances, and explained that this was his first time seeing the show. "The choreography and sound reproduction is excellent. It's my first time."
He said he also appreciated the show's underlying themes, as well as seeing the traditions of ancient China presented. "I have been very interested in classical Chinese theatre, history and culture for a long time. So, it's very nice for me to be here and see it."
He said he enjoyed "Welcoming Spring," a dance that features stunning bursts of color. "I think that visually, for me, the most appealing dance number was the Spring dance. Their fans become poppies. Very clever. Very nicely done."
"It's very nice, very very nice!" he concluded.
