(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, 22 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Fujian Province] Additional Facts about the Persecution of Practitioners in Shaowu City
Since July 20, 1999, Mr. Wei Jianfei, Ms. She Meiyu, and Ms. Yang Fengjiao have died as a result of persecution, and seven practitioners have been illegally sentenced to imprisonment.
Since May 19, 2009, seven practitioners have been unlawfully arrested. Among them, Mr. Zhu Jinghua was sentenced to three years of imprisonment and has been sent to Fuzhou Prison. Ms. Liu Renhua and Mr. Xiao Shuiming were each sentenced to one year and nine months of forced labor. Four other practitioners are currently being held in the city detention center.

Mr. Chen Yinru was held in a forced labor camp for three years because he practiced Falun Gong. On the afternoon of October 27, 2009, he was arrested again. He is now in the Suzhou City No.1 Detention Center.
3. [Zhaodong City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Ma Yuxi Unlawfully Sent to Suihua Forced Labor Camp.
After being detained by the Zhaodong 610 Office for four months, Mr. Ma Yuxi was secretly sent to Suihua Forced Labor Camp for a term of two years.
4. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Additional Facts about the Persecution of Mr. Zhai Mingjun
Because of his perseverance in following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Mr. Zhai Mingjun from Changtu County was sentenced to forced labor for a term of three years. Three years later, on September 4, 2009, Benxi Forced Labor Camp extended his term because he did not give up his belief in Falun Gong. On October 20, 2009, the Sanjiangkou Town Police Station sent officers to forcibly take Mr. Zhai in secret to the Fushun Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center.
5. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Qinghua and Ms. Wang Yanhua Taken to Xindi Detention Center
On November 5, 2009, Ms. Gao Qinghua and Ms. Wang Yanhua were reported while they were handing out material explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Shuiquan Township. The Shuiquan Police Station apprehended them. They are now in the Fuxin Xindi Detention Center.
6. [Yanzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Ming and Ms. Zhang Maoyun Persecuted
Mr. Liu Ming and Ms. Zhang Maoyun were arrested on April 8, 2009. Their computer, printer, CD/DVD burner, DVD player, CDs, two MP3 players, two cell phones, Falun Gong books, and money were confiscated.
7. [Huanghua City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Zhaochen and Ms. Tian Xiufen Sentenced to Forced Labor
Before October 1, 2009, the Cangzhou Public Security Bureau collaborated with the Huanghua Public Security Bureau to arrest Mr. Li Zhaochen, Ms. Tian Xiufen, and five other practitioners. The other five were released before October 1. Mr. Li and Ms. Tian were each sentenced to two years of forced labor. Li Zhaochen is now in Cangzhou Forced Labor Camp and Tian Xiufen is in Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.
8. [Shanghai] Mr. Wang Mingfang from the Zhabei District Was Taken to Qingpu Brainwashing Center on September 8 While Grocery Shopping. His Whereabouts Are Unknown
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Lin Detained
Mr. Wang Lin is about 60. On September 21, 2009, four to five police officers charged into his home and confiscated his two computers, his child's computer, and one printer. Mr. Wang was apprehended once before and taken to a Changchun City Jingyue secret torture cell.
10. [Linzhou City, Henan Province] Wang Zhihua Persecuted
Mr. Wang Zhihua has not been heard from since he was deceived and then taken into custody by Qin Zhide and others from the Domestic Security Division on September 30, 2009. Recently it was heard that he is going to be tried in court.
11. [Heze City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lu Persecuted in Taian Prison
Mr. Lu, about 60 years old, is from Shan County. Four years ago, he was sentenced to prison and held in the No. 5 Ward in Taian Prison. Because he refused to give up his faith, he was not released after his term was over. Before September 10, 2009, staff from the 610 Office transferred him from Taian Prison to the Brainwashing Center in the Shandong No. 2 Men's Forced Labor Camp in Guanzhuang Township, Zhangqiu, Jinan City.
12. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Jianhua Arrested
On February 7, 2009, Mr. Yu Jianhua from Wutu Town defended Falun Gong because his father, Mr. Yu Xinmao, practices it. As a result, the Changle County Wutu Police Station arrested him and locked him up in the county detention center for a month. After having 5000 yuan extorted from him, Yu Jianhua was transferred to the Weifang Brainwashing Center. Twenty days later, he escaped from the center and has been moving from place to place ever since to avoid persecution.
At 5:00 a.m. on November 5, 2009, staff from the Changle County Public Security Bureau, the Domestic Security Division, and the Police Station arrested Yu Jianhua at his home and took him to the Wutu Police Station, where he is being cruelly tortured.

13. [Shanxi Province] Mr. Lu Yaoxue Persecuted in Jinzhong Prison and His Condition Is Critical
14. [Bejing] Mr. Shi Bo and Ms. Sun Guizhen Taken to Brainwashing Center
Around October 20, 2009, just a few days after Mr. Shibo and Ms. Sun Guizhen were released after being persecuted for six to seven years, the Beijing Fangshan District 610 Office, the Domestic Security Division, and the police station forcibly took them to a brainwashing center. No further information is known.
15. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Wen from Dashiwo Village, Fangshan District, Persecuted
Ms. Liu Wen is about 40 years old. She was taken to the police station in September 2008 and then held in a detention center.
16. [Pengan County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Long Biqing Arrested and His Home Ransacked
On September 14, 2009, police including Liu Mingqing, the head of the Domestic Security Division of the Pengan County Public Security Bureau, took Mr. Long Biqing into custody and ransacked his home. They stole a CD/DVD burner, an MP3 player, CDs and materials for clarifying the facts about Falun Gong, etc. Mr. Long was then taken to the Domestic Security Division.
17. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Deqian and Mr. Li Baojin Transferred to Jidong Prison in Tangshan
Folk artist Mr. Wang Deqian from Laishui County and Mr. Li Baojin from Yi County were transferred from the Yi County Detention Center to Tangshan Jidong Prison on October 19, 2009.

18. [Chongqing] Mr. Yin Zhihai and Ms. Zhou Jibi Sentenced
Mr. Yin Zhihai and Ms. Zhou Jibi from Tongliang were sentenced to three and four years imprisonment respectively. They are now in Yongchuan Prison.
19. [LiShui, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Xiong Huimin Taken into Custody
On November 3, 2009, staff from the Nanjing 610 Office and the Lishui 610 Office charged into Ms. Xiong Huimin's home. They searched her home and confiscated her property. Ms. Xiong was taken away and her whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Xie Jinge and Mr. Sun Guangyu were also taken away. Mr. Sun was immediately sent to a forced labor camp.

20. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Yuchun Arrested
Mr. Wang Yuchan from the Shenhe District is 48. Around September 20, 2009, he was arrested by the Shenhe District Domestic Security Division and is being held in Shenhe Detention Center.
