(Clearwisdom.net) One day, a friend of my husband, whom we hadn't seen for a year, came to visit us. During the conversation, he told us that his wife practices Falun Gong and has good health. He then told us a story about himself, which really surprised me.
In the past, he had a very bad habit that he was unable to break. Whenever he saw something that interested him, whether it was belonged to his neighbors or was in a store, he would manage to get it. For instance, when he saw an unlocked bicycle on the street, he would hop on and ride it away, then sell it later on. He had stolen 40 to 50 bicycles in total. Since his wife began to practice Falun Gong, he no longer thinks about stealing when he sees anything attractive. His wife told him, "This is called 'when one person practices cultivation, the whole family benefits.'"
I was actually somehow shocked when I heard his story. I had never thought that a person who looked so innocent would have stolen things in the past. I was deeply moved, recalling that, Falun Dafa is indeed "The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities." (Zhuan Falun) (Official translation)
