(Clearwisdom.net) On Monday evening, February 9, 2009, Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company and The Divine Performing Arts Orchestra performed at the Robinson Center Music Hall in Little Rock, Arkansas. The audience marveled at the show's colors, music, and dance as well as the profundity of traditional Chinese cultural.
"I Was Sitting There and My Jaw Dropped"
Denise Mason, who teaches children with autism, attended the show with her daughter, Amber, a dance student at North Little Rock College.
Mrs. Mason was clearly impressed by the show. "I loved it ... I just loved it! It was absolutely amazing! Everything was put together in such an incredible way. I was sitting there and my jaw dropped and my eyes were wide open--I just couldn't take my eyes off the stage. It was amazing!"
"Everything Was Just So Fluid, Just Smooth and Beautiful!"
She especially liked the precision and fluidity of the dancers' movements, saying, "Everything was just so fluid, just smooth and beautiful! Beautiful. I just thought it was beautiful, how even the way they held their hands and everything--everything was so precise, it was so beautiful. I noticed that it looked very delicate, very delicate."
The Dances Were "Very Different and Very Exciting!"
The reporter asked Mrs. Mason's daughter how the dances compare to her own experience as a dance student, to which she replied, "Its really different, like when we dance, we are more on point ... the DPA dancers are just flowing ... and everything just flows together--its just very different and very exciting! If we put more of that type of dancing into the dance that we do now, it would be a lot more fun and a lot more interesting."
"The Dancers Did a Phenomenal Job!"
Amber commented on the demeanor of the dancers, saying, "Being a dancer, you look at how they carry themselves and you relate to it. I know how it is being up there on the stage and I know they must be nervous, and yet they did a phenomenal job!"
"It's Just My Type of Show!"
She thought the timing of the dancing and the music were especially superb, "I also play the French Horn. And I loved the orchestra and I loved the dance and how they put the music and the dance together and the flow--all of it together--it's just my type of show!"
Mrs. Mason especially appreciated the way the show depicted the Chinese culture and the value they place on the family. "I loved it, the tradition and the family. It's beautiful. You can see it in everything that they do--it's just gorgeous."
Amber added, "It's just everything. The families are just so closely knit, unlike American culture. The Chinese are more at home and more close."
Mrs. Mason concluded by saying, "Tradition and family, that's very important. It should be that way."
"We Hope the Message of This Show Touches Everybody"
Sam Algahin, a businessman, attended DPA with several of his friends. "We were lucky enough to have been able to come to this event, to see the show. We drove from a long way away," he said.

He thought the show overall was "very interesting" and was impressed by the backdrops.
One of the main reasons he and his friends came to see the show was to find out more about the Chinese culture. "Many of ours friends are wondering what's going on over there in China. In a way it's interesting to find out what's on the other side of the world. We hope the message of this show touches everybody," he said.
The program that touched Mr. Algahin's heart the most was the last one "Knowing the True Picture Offers Ultimate Hope." "You can feel it from the messages ... and the hope and all of the things that have to happen in the future. That's a very interesting thing. The whole show is beautiful, but the last performance was more attached to the heart."
