(Clearwisdom.net) At 5:30 p.m. on the 28th of February 2009, the New York-based Divine Performing Arts Company (DPA) finished its second performance at the Palais des Congres in Paris. Audience members from all walks of life in Paris were enchanted by the wonderful performance. Warm applause filled the theatre. Frequent interactions between the audience and the artists helped to create a cordial atmosphere. Some audience members had come to see the show three years in a row. They were full of praise for the high quality programs DPA puts out each year. When asked, the people always had the most wonderful things to say. Not only did they marvel at the exquisite performance, they were also touched by the spiritual message and traditional moral values that DPA delivered through their art.
Bank manager: DPA conveyed wonderful principles
A technical department manager at the most important bank in France, Mr. Ibani Tucy said, "The show was colourful and wonderful. It was obvious that the DPA dancers are all highly talented. The creativity of the DPA director also came out through the show. One could find in the performance many wonderful spiritual contents and life principles."
Mr. Tucy gave an example, "A good example was the beautiful flowers that greeted the return of Buddha in the group dance "The Udumbara's Bloom". I loved this piece. I think it is very important that people can convey beauty and kindness in this way."
Secretary at Luxemburg's Embassy to France: I was deeply fascinated by the performance
Ms. Galigzine is a secretary at Luxemburg's Embassy to France. She said, "This was my first time seeing DPA's performance. The show was brilliant, full of charm. The dancers' techniques were amazing. The whole show was highly professional, first class. The costumes were very colourful. On stage, the artists had the grace of stars. I was deeply fascinated by the entire performance."

A University of Paris chemistry professor from Hungary, Mr. Tebol, watched DPA's performance with his wife. The couple praised the show as wonderful. They enjoyed the music, the dancing, as well as the costumes. The professor said that they loved Chinese culture. DPA made their wish come true.
Technical department manager: the show was harmonious, beautiful and sensitive

Architect: DPA was very moving
A gynaecologist Ms. Anne Heckly was especially impressed by the ethnic "Dance of the Yi" and the Tibetan "Dance of the Snow-Capped Mountain". Her husband, Laurent Heckly, is an architect. He said, "We live in Boulogne-Billancourt in western France. The long trip here was well worth it. The show was graceful, very moving and very sophisticated technically.
Mainland hotel manager moved to tears
Ms. Yang has only been in Paris for three months. She was a hotel manager in Beijing and has seen many performances. When she saw DPA's advertisement in a French newspaper, she felt she could not see this kind of performance in China, so she came happily to see the show with her two daughters.
Ms. Yang
Ms. Yang marvelled at the excellence of DPA's art, "The colours and the backdrop were so beautiful! The large screen was as if from the heavens. The effects were so real. They cannot achieve such effects in China."
She continued, "I liked every single piece, especially those with a story-line. I hope my children can learn to dance and nurture a love for art from childhood." When she heard that some of the artists in DPA came from Paris, Ms. Yang was very excited, "It is said that DPA's artists have been trained since they were young. I really hope my daughters could have the opportunity to attend such a dance school."
Ms. Yang added in the end, "I was moved to tears by the piece depicting the Falun Gong (practitioner) in jail. Human nature should not be repressed. People should have the right to religious freedom. Such a performance will definitely be censored in mainland China. But human nature cannot be changed by censorship. I sincerely hope more Chinese people can see this show."
Mainland Chinese: authentic traditional Chinese culture
An overseas student, Ms. Chen, has been in Paris for one year. Having seen the matinee, she was very excited. She said that she had seen the show the night before also. She said, "Only this can be called authentic traditional Chinese culture. Its beauty is out of this world."
Ms. Hu teaches Chinese at a French high school. She thought the DPA show was excellent in presenting the Chinese culture. Each year she comes to see the show. She made up her mind that next year she would bring her French students along.
