(Clearwisdom.net) Taipei, TAIWAN- From February 25 to March 2, 2009, the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company presented eight shows at the Taipei International Conference Center. The shows won great reviews and attracted many audience members. Many of them appreciate the positive influence the show brings to society.
Professor Lin Jen-Chieh from the Department of Art at National Taiwan Normal University.
Professor Lin Jen-Chieh was impressed with the Chinese New Year Spectacular. He thought the pure, orthodox tradition combined with modern technology made for many surprises for the audience.
Lin said that some stories he knew well became even more impressive after he saw them brought to life in such a special way, like "The Monkey King Triumphs" and "The Poet's Vision." "I thought they were interesting. This is a show that adds creativity to tradition."
Lin was moved after seeing "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution." He said, "(The Falun Gong practitioners) were a happy family, but because of their dedication to the truth, the government suppressed and bullied them. It's a good story for the thinking people in society. I think all the programs are inspirational."
Lin was sorry that his wife missed the show that day. He said the show brings people brilliance and hope. He not only wanted to bring his family and friends but hoped that everyone in Taiwan could see it.

Yan Cheng-Hsiung is an investment consultant for over 20 local governments in China and has counseled more than 1400 companies. He wanted to share the Spectacular show with more people after he watched on February 28. "I collect calligraphy and paintings and have some knowledge of art. I feel we should share beautiful things with everyone and that we should promote the DPA's show. We need to support art and pass down culture. These beautiful things can make our lives more pleasant and society more peaceful."
