(Clearwisdom.net) On April 3-14, 2009, the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" International Art Exhibition was held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Many people came to see the artworks, and over the weekend, a group a Chinese tourists also came. Mr. Lin Wencheng, the principal of Fucheng High School, invited the teachers at his school and parents to the exhibition. He also invited his friend, the principal of Chungshan High School. On April 12, a group of 35 Chinese people, originally from China, but now living in Taiwan, came to the exhibition. At the exhibition, Mr. Wu Yongde, a Falun Gong practitioner and former college art teacher, explained the artworks to the visitors.

Mr. Lin Wencheng said, "The artworks are excellent, but what is more
important is their profound content. They pass on information of the persecution
and the beauty and brightness of righteousness. It tells people that goodness is
rewarded. The exhibition can help to improve students' moral standard."
Mr. Qin said, "This exhibition is different than others. We can sense the
artists' realm from the artworks, and sense their minds when they are in
meditation."
Mr. Weng came to the exhibition with his daughter. He said, "I feel peaceful here. The environment of the exhibition is compassionate. The artworks call upon people to conduct themselves with a higher moral standard. I am very excited about the exhibition." His daughter added, "I don't practice Falun Gong, but I have heard about it. I am touched by this exhibition. I hope that more people, after viewing the artworks, will pay attention to the persecution and sense the beauty of cultivation."
Mr. Duan and his wife Ms. Yu said the exhibition is important to Taiwan, because it tells people about the brutality of the persecution of Falun Gong, something that many Taiwanese don't know about. Ms. Yu said she felt very sad about the human right abuses in China.
Mr. Wu Yongde said, "We can tell of the brutality of the persecution and the beauty of Falun Gong. But more importantly, we can tell of Falun Gong practitioners' spirits and hope. [Viewing these paintings] we sense practitioners' courage and forbearance in the face of persecution."
