(Clearwisdom.net) "Chubby" is an obese 43-year-old man who is employed as a driver. He has a good sense of humor, is short-tempered, very honest and can't eat any meal without meat. He used to smoke and drink and loves to socialize. His wife is ill and they have a child at home. They live in a rental unit, and Chubby was the sole provider.

Chubby's sister practices Falun Gong. She used to be very sick and in such distress that she had thought of suicide. To help his sister, Chubby used to search for secret remedies that would heal her. After she started practicing Falun Gong, however, her diseases were all healed. After witnessing his sister's transformation, he truly believed in Falun Gong.

When he went to his sister's home for a visit one time, her found her doing the second exercise, "Falun Standing Stance." She wanted him to give it a try, so Chubby began to hold up his arms with the exercise music. Soon after, tears began to course down his cheeks. He couldn't carry on anymore and almost collapsed. In front of Teacher's portrait, he said, "Teacher Li, I truly admire you. Your Dafa is definitely not an ordinary exercise, but I can't follow it, because you said that practitioners were not allowed to kill lives or smoke or drink. I can't make it. As long as I know your Dafa is wonderful, that will have to be good enough."

In March 2008, Chubby was on a motorcycle to go to pick up his child. Suddenly, his body and head starting aching and he had to stop. His legs, feet, and hands lacked strength and his gait was unsteady and unbalanced. It took him considerable effort to call his wife on his cellphone. His wife came and took him to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with cerebral thrombosis. After two weeks of injections and medications, his situation still hadn't turned around. He couldn't walk by himself, and when he spoke, his mouth shifted to one side. His doctor said that he had been fortunate to have progressed to this point, which meant that the hospital couldn't do much more for him, so he was sent home. When his friends came to the hospital to visit him, they all said in surprise, "How could a man as fearless as Chubby end up like this?" They were rather worried about him. When his sister went to the hospital to see him, she told him that by reciting "Falun Dafa is wonderful" and "Truth- Compassion-Forbearance is wonderful," Teacher would certainly help him.

Chubby's wife has been taking good care of him since he returned home from the hospital and continues to read "Zhuan Falun" to him. He has been doing better and better day by day. He has gradually been able to walk independently, and his legs, feet, and hands have regained strength. His mouth no longer turns down on one side when he speaks, and he has regained his health. People who see him are all very surprised. He has said to them, "I am protected by Teacher Li."

Only because of his sincere heart towards Dafa have the gods bestowed good fortune upon him. Soon after his discharge from the hospital, his friend lent him some money to get a new car and reassured him that there was no pressure to pay it back soon. He told him to just get himself well and that should take priority.

Right now, Chubby has his own car and has quit smoking and drinking. He is confident in his life and cherishes it like never before. He said, "This Dafa is truly wonderful. Many people are deceived by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) false propaganda. The CCP is committing a tremendous sin!"
