(Clearwisdom.net) At around 9:00 a.m. on May 22, 2009, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Liang Peiying, from the Ninth Group, Xiling Village, Louhe Town, Xiantao City, Hubei Province, was arrested secretly at a food market at Louhe Town. Weeks have passed and her family still doesn't know her whereabouts.
Ms. Liang was a tailor by trade and was renting a room near the food market. According to incomplete reports, on April 25 a secretary named Xia Daxue in Louhe Town, possibly the secretary in Lianghe Office, and Xiling Village secretary Jin Renchuan harassed her and videotaped her.
In another incident, the police entered and ransacked the home of practitioner Ms. Wang Xianzhi at around 2:00 p.m. on May 22, 2009. Ms. Wang is from Dutai Village, Longhuashan Office in Xiantao City, and the police were from Longhuashan Police Station, accompanied by the Dutai Village Security Committee director. At that time, no one was at home. An elderly neighbor asked who they were, and they replied that they came to arrest people who gamble. The older lady told them the couple who live in that house never gamble. They banged on the door for a while, saying that the owners should be at home since Ms. Wang Xianzhi was working a night shift. They then broke into the home through a window via the roof of the neighbor's building, and stole various items of private property.
Since the persecution began in 1999, practitioners Liang Peiying and Wang Xianzhi have been persecuted many times. According to reports on the Clearwisdom website, on the afternoon of September 10, 2004, He Guohua, head of the 610 Office in Xiantao City, dispatched people from Longshan Office to arrest Ms. Liang and Ms. Wang, and detain them at the Financial Office Brainwashing Center of Magang Town. During their detention there they were force-fed and forced to undergo brainwashing. Xia Daxue was a so-called teaching assistant at Magang Brainwashing Center, and participated in persecuting Ms. Liang.
Ms. Liang was previously incarcerated in Wuhan Women's Prison for three years. In 2001, Ms. Wang was locked up in the First Detention Center in Xiantao City and the Tenth Brainwashing Center in Xiantao City. Zhang Aijiao, a Falun Gong practitioner in Ganhe Office, Xiaonan Village, was persecuted at this brainwashing center. In the detention center and brainwashing center, Ms. Wang was frequently subjected to fierce beatings.
Seven Falun Gong practitioners in Xiantao City are now serving prison sentences of two to four years. Chen Muying, an officer at the National Tax Bureau, is detained in Hubei Province Women's Prison. Mao Guiping, a cook at Experimental Kindergarten, and Li Jinyang, a taxi driver in Xiliuhe Town, are detained in Fanjiatai Prison of Hubei Province. Zhou Yancai, a worker in a machinery plant, is detained in Shayang Forced Labor Camp. Hu Feixiong, a teacher in Dutai Village, Liu Jun, a salesman at a food factory, and Fu Lingjun, a language teacher at the No. 8 Middle school, are detained in the No. 1 Detention Center in Xiantao City. After suffering long-term persecution, the lives of many Falun Gong practitioners are in danger, but the ruling regime still refuses to release any of them.
