Practitioners working on the Minghui website and all other practitioners around the world, Greetings!
The Minghui (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) website marked its 10th anniversary on June 25, 2009. I thank Master for giving us the Minghui website, which provides us with a pure platform to save sentient beings. Here I would like to share with fellow practitioners my experience with the Minghui website. I also hope more practitioners can realize the importance of Minghui during the process of cultivation in the Fa rectification period, and fully utilize and support the Dafa website that Teacher arranged for us.
On July 20, 1999, I went to Beijing to validate the Fa. While I was standing on the street, I heard from a fellow practitioner about the Minghui website for the first time. Immediately I had an urge to visit it.
Later I was arrested in Beijing and detained at a detention center. After I was released, I realized that I had slacked off too much. To catch up with the progress of Fa rectification, I needed to study the Fa thoroughly, and read fellow practitioners' experience sharing articles. Fellow practitioners helped me greatly. Within a week, practitioners sent me all of Teacher's articles since 1999 and many issues of Minghui Weekly. While I was eagerly reading them, the thought to visit the Minghui website grew stronger every day.
It took just several days for my wish to come true. My computer skills at that time were so poor that I had no idea how to get around the CCP's firewalls and restrictions. It is Master who cleared away the old forces' barriers and led me to the website. When the Minghui website appeared in front of my eyes with soft blue tones and the photo of "Master Li quietly watching the world from amidst the mountains", my heart felt such a boundless and magnificent tranquility, it was like "Oh, I am home at last!"
One year later, a practitioner taught me how to install the software to let me access the Minghui website. Gradually I came to understand the computer techniques for accessing information on the Internet. I followed the instructions from "The Cookbook for Setting up a Material Production Site from Scratch" published on Minghui to help other practitioners set up computers. I learned how to setup the download service for video and audio files. My understanding is: Everything is arranged and given by Master. When we have a strong will and firmly believe in Master, nothing is unachievable.
We stay in contact with the practitioners in local detention centers. We use various methods to safely deliver the book Zhuan Falun, and Master's articles since 1999 to them. We also encourage them to be firm in their cultivation and negate the persecution. They wrote down stories of the persecution from inside the detention center and managed to get them out. When we receive it, we edit it, rewrite it into an article, and type it into the computer. Sometimes it would take us the whole night to get it done.
In the past several years, visiting the Minghui website and writing articles to expose the persecution became one of my important projects. I cooperate with other practitioners to follow up with the situation of the persecution, and publish it quickly so that people can clearly see through the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) evil nature and its deceitful and despicable propaganda.
The effect of Minghui on saving sentient beings and exposing and stopping the evil is far beyond our imagination. One time I was arrested with another practitioner. The head of the Domestic Security Team took away that practitioner's bank card and refused to return it even after the practitioner reasoned with him. He said, "So much money in your account, Falun Gong must have given you the money; we have to investigate and cannot give it back to you." Hearing his threatening words, I asked him, "What are you talking about? You must be on the Persecutors List on Minghui, aren't you?" He was apparently shocked, and suddenly froze there without moving or making a sound for a while. Then he gave the bank card back to the practitioner and urged us to leave quickly and not to stay in his city. He said that he did not want to run into us again. This incident showed the great power of Minghui to eliminate the evil.
The experience sharing articles published on Minghui have helped me a lot in my cultivation. Master has taught us in the Fa about how an average person can succeed in cultivation if he lives in a good cultivation environment. Sometimes it is difficult for me to always keep a diligent state all the time, and I had previously deviated from the Fa. Practitioners like me should not ignore Minghui. Every day when I read the practitioners' articles downloaded from the Minghui website, I can always find articles talking about the problem I have on that day. Minghui is a pure land for practitioners' cultivation. It is a place that Master gave us that we are able to improve and share understandings together under the persecution. To practitioners in China, this is a very precious thing and needs to be fully utilized by every one.
The ten years of Minghui are ten years of practitioners following Master to validate the Fa. In the process of cultivating in the human world and saving sentient beings, practitioners have achieved numerous magnificent and remarkable feats. I am always moved by practitioners' articles on Minghui. Whenever I see newly published articles from Teacher or news, happiness fills my heart. In the years of communicating and cooperating with Minghui to validate the Fa, I have witnessed the hard work of the Minghui editors, the support and contribution they have given to practitioners in China, and their sincere and unselfish hearts as Dafa practitioners.
I want to express my gratitude to practitioners working on Minghui for their help and encouragement to my cultivation, and hope Minghui will be even more successful in the future.
