(Clearwisdom.net) The 610 Office of Guan County in Shandong Province has never stopped persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. The following is a brief record of the crimes that they committed in June 2009.
Around June 5, the appeals made by practitioners Wang Hongchao, Cui Yuezhi, and Zhang Qiaohuan were rejected by the Liaocheng City Intermediate Court. This court decided to uphold the original eight-year sentences handed down by Guan County Court for each of the practitioners. They were subsequently transferred from the 610 Office to the forced labor camp in Jinan City.
On June 10, some government officials of Guan County accompanying Xu Shuman, chairman of the Liucheng City People Political Consultative, came to Guan County to inspect the situation of cable network in villages. However, their primary goal was to supervise the confiscation of ground satellite TV receiving antennas in order to stop civilians from watching programs on New Tang Dynasty TV Station.
At noon on June 12, Guan County Government held a meeting at a Guanzhou Hotel conference room. From there they organized a so-called "Political Achievement" exhibit of the persecution of Falun Gong. The assistant to the mayor of Liaocheng City, the head of the city police department (Ren Jianjun), the Chinese Communist Party Committee secretary of Guan County (Hong Yuzhen), the Political and Judiciary Committee head (Han Jinfang), the deputy head of Liaocheng City 610 Office (Liu Wei), and the head of the 610 Office of Guan County (Ren Guangmin) were all present at the exhibit. During the few days following, about 5,000 people visited the exhibit and were thus polluted by Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) propaganda against Falun Gong.
In addition, a signature collection activity was held outside the Guanzhou Hotel to "support" the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. The employees of many work units and elementary school pupils were forced to sign their names.
On June 16, the Guan County 610 Office gathered representatives from all of the 610 Offices in the county to reinforce the policy made by the upper level of the 610 Office to intensify the persecution of practitioners whom they were worried about, and to arrest those of whom they were suspicious.
Some people asked Han Jinfang and Ren Guangmin why they had to be so wicked against Falun Gong practitioners. They replied that it was for the 60th anniversary of CCP's control of China, the 11th National Games, and the protection of Chinese Communist regime.
On the morning of June 12, as the CCP government officials were busy with promoting their persecution of Falun Gong at Guanzhou Hotel, the wife of a villager named Li Ruyao (the couple are non-practitioners) from Lilu Village of Guancheng Town, who was in her ninth month of pregnancy, was abducted by more than twenty people from Guancheng Town government. They forcibly dragged her to the Maternal and Pediatric Health Care Station for a forced abortion. Six to seven muscular men held her down on a bed and injected the medicine for induction. The wife attempted with all her might to break loose but to no avail. One hour later, both mother and the unborn infant were killed at Guan County Maternal and Pediatric Health Care Station. More than a dozen of reporters from different TV stations and newspapers went to report on the tragic scene. Hong Yuzhen, CCP secretary of Guan County, issued a deadly order that they go to all lengths to stop Li's family members from talking to any of the reporters. Police officers from the local police department were ordered to arrest anyone who dared any attempt.
On the evening of June 19, Guan County government TV station broadcast the news of the "Political Achievement" exhibit held on June 12 and of the signature collection from innocent people and children in Guan County that "supported" the persecution of Falun Gong.
On June 22, a practitioner from the Scientific Association of Guan County, Du Yunzhu, died after suffering from long-term torture.
On the afternoon of June 26, the 610 Office held another meeting at Guanzhou Hotel #1 conference room. The deputy head of the CCP committee of Guan County Political and Judiciary Committee and the head of the 610 Office of Guan County (Ren Guangmin), the deputy head of the 610 Office of the county, the head of the 610 Office sponsored brainwashing center of the county (Ma Wenchang), the other deputy head of the 610 Office of the county (Shi Xuezeng), and the deputy head of the police department of the county (Xue Lianchun) were present at the meeting. They designed and arranged plans of what do to with 128 key practitioners. They decided that they would strictly follow the "four clipping one" policy with those practitioners whose names were on their black list. They warned that officials from the central 610 Office would soon make unannounced visits to Guan County, so they should make sure that that no truth clarifying materials by Falun Gong are seen anywhere again. Once it happens again, whoever is responsible for the area will be held accountable.
From January to June 30, 2009, dozens of practitioners were arrested, their residences searched, and six were sentenced to forced labor (details not yet available), three others were sentenced to prison terms, and one was tortured to death.
