(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Tianjin City) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Naishen was employed by the First Company of the Tianjin Port Group Corporation, Ltd. In 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and was arrested by personnel from the 610 Office of the Tanggu District, Tianjin City. He was taken to a local detention center, and later transferred to a Forced Labor Camp where he was held for one and a half years.
In 2002, after one and a half years of imprisonment, he reported back to work but his company did not give him his job back. Citing security reasons, they instead had him arrested and detained at the Tianjin Port Police Department. In an attempt to brainwash Mr. Wang, the officers there employed sleep deprivation techniques for many months to force him to write a so-called guarantee statement.
After losing his job and being tortured both mentally and physically, including long-term sleep deprivation, Mr. Wang was on the verge of a mental collapse.
According to an informed source, one day Mr. Wang suddenly ran out of the Tianjin Port Police Department with people yelling and chasing after him. He ran to a crane at the port and climbed up while police officers stood below shouting threats. It is probable that Mr. Wang lost his balance and fell from the crane due to his weakened physical condition and severe emotional distress. His work unit and the Tianjin Port Police Department told the family that Mr. Wang committed suicide. However, it is obvious that Mr. Wang would not have died while trying to escape had he not suffered severe abuse in the brainwashing center.
Mr. Wang Naishen was known as an honest, warm, hard-working, and helpful person. His colleagues had a favorable impression of him. His death came as a surprise and saddened many people.
