1. [Tianjin City] Ms. Li Dongman Detained in the Gangbei Prison
In late October 2009, the Hexi Court in Tianjin City secretly sentenced Ms. Li Dongman to three years in prison. Her appeal was rejected. In late November 2009, she was sent to the Gangbei Prison in Tianjin City.

At 10 a.m. on January 6, 2010, Ms. Ao Guangying, about 70 years old, was followed and arrested while she was distributing Falun Gong materials. Ms. Wan Ruilan, about 60 years old, was also followed and arrested.
Police officer Chen Zuo led seven or eight people to take Ms. Ao Guangying to her home and took away a DVD player, a bank book for withdrawing her pension and four or five deposit slips. The police also took away 600 yuan in cash that Ms. Ao Guangying was carrying, and slapped her in the face. When Ms. Ao's niece went to pick her up at the detention center, the police extorted 400 yuan from her, telling her that they needed to collect 1,000 yuan, or else Ms. Ao would be detained for 10 days.
Tang Quande led seven or eight plainclothes policemen to take Ms. Wan Ruilan to her home and ransacked it. Ms. Wan is being detained in the Pengan County Detention Center.

Ms. He Chunhua is still being detained in the Heilongjiang Women's Prison.
Ms. He Chunhua had been detained in the Shuanghe Forced Labor Camp in Jianhua District, Qiqihar City. The guards employed all kinds of methods to torture Falun Gong practitioners in order to force them to "transform". The camp held a meeting to defame the founder of Falun Dafa. Because Ms. He Chunhua had shouted in the meeting, "You are wrong!" she was taken away from the meeting hall. She was handcuffed to a bed's headboard and forced to stand for several days. Afterwards, she was taken away by officers from the Qiqihar Police Department. Several months later, she was sent back to the Shuanghe Forced Labor Camp. In the camp, she was forced to stand beside a bed with her hands cuffed onto the bed. She was cuffed to the bed even while she slept. Several days later, Ms. He collapsed. A male practitioner from Changle was arrested in Anqiu City on December 19, 2009. He is being detained in the Anqiu Brainwashing Center.
Mr. Sun Zongxu from Weifang City was arrested in Anqiu City on December 19, 2009. Right now he is critically ill as a result of the persecution in the Anqiu Brainwashing Center. He cannot walk and is being treated in the Anqiu People's Hospital.
The Anqiu Brainwashing Center employs a variety of methods to persecute practitioners, including shocking them with electric batons, beating them with wooden sticks and rubber sticks, and restraining them on metal chairs for extending periods.

The police also went to ransack the home of Ms. Zhao Sue and took away a computer. They even beat her son, who is not a Dafa practitioner. On January 7, 2010, Ms. Zhao's son was released after the police extorted 1,000 yuan from him. The four practitioners were sent to the State Security Team of the Heishan Police Department.

At noon on January 10, 2010, Mr. Xu's husband, Mr. Zhang Delin, was arrested. The police ransacked his home and took away a computer and two Falun Dafa books. Currently, Ms. Xu Cuiyun and Ms. Shao Shumin are being detained in the Yutian Detention Center, and Mr. Zhang Delin is in the Lixi Police Station.

15. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Recent Information about the Persecution of Ms. Tan Xiangyu
On January 4, 2010, Ms. Tan Xiangyu was arrested by officers from the Yuhuating Police Station.
Officers from the Tianxin State Security Team arrested Ms. Tan and her husband Mr. Xie Wutang many times. In 2007, they were detained in prison. In December 2007, Ms. Tan Xiangyu was released on bail for medical treatment. Mr. Xie is still being detained in the Wuling Prison in Changde City.

16. [Liancheng City, Shandong Province] A Female Practitioner Arrested
On January 1, 2010, a female practitioner was arrested while she was distributing Falun Gong materials. She lives in the family village of the Dongchangfu District Government in Liaocheng City. Her daughter is disabled as a result of persecution.
17. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Mr. Zhu Liliang Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison.
Mr. Zhu Liliang works in the Huangchuan Production and Disaster Relief Office. On the morning of August 16, 2009, he was taken away from his office by officers from the Huangchuan Police Department. On August 26, 2009, the Huangchuan Police Department issued an arrest warrant. On September 8, 2009, the Huangchuan Procuratorate initiated prosecution steps against Mr. Zhu. At the beginning of January 2010, the Huangchuan Court sentenced Mr. Zhu to three and a half years in prison. He is to be sent to the Henan First Prison.

On January 9, 2010, seven female practitioners were arrested by officers from the Shahezi Farm Police Station while they were talking to people about Falun Gong at the Shahezi Farm of Fangzheng County. That night, Lu Tongjin, Chief of the Fangzheng State Security Team and Zhao Jiaoqi, Deputy Director of the Fangzheng Police Department led police to take the seven practitioners to the Fangzheng Second Detention Center.

23. [Huailai County, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Dejing Detained
Ms. Lu Dejing from Huailai County, just 19 years old, was arrested by officers from the Fengtai Police Department in Beijing while she worked in Beijing. Now she is being detained in the Fengtai Detention Center. The guards are to send her to a forced labor camp for a two-year term.
