(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this report, 11 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jia Guiqin Arrested and Taken to Shenyang City Women's Prison
On April 24, 2010, under orders of the 610 Office and the Chaoyang City Political and Judiciary Committee, officers from the Political Security Division, the Chaoyang City Police Department, and the Chaoyang City Qianjin Police Department arrested married couple Ms. Jia Guiqin and Mr. Li Hua at their home. The couple was held at a detention center for more than four months. Recently, the 610 Office, the Chaoyang City Political and Judiciary Committee, the Shuangta District Procuratorate, and the court conspired to sentence Ms. Jia to 13 years in prison. Another practitioner, Ms. Li Hua, was sentenced three years in prison, with a five-year suspension. Ms. Jia was taken to Shenayng City Women's Prison on September 13, 2010.

2. [Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ju Guangge and Others Persecuted
On August 23, 2010, Mr. Ju Guangge, from Damiao Town, Chaoyang County, was arrested by Yang Runpeng from the Damian Town Police Station. He was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
Ms. Song Cailian from Boluochi Township, Chaoyang County, and Mr. Zhang Guotian from Kazuogongyingzi Township were arrested by officers from the Gongyingzi Township Police Station at the market in Kazuogongyingzi Township. They are still in the Chaoyang County Detention Center.

3. [Shanghai ] Ms. Gong Naifang Arrested and Taken to Qingpu Brainwashing Center
Officers from the Xietu Road Neighborhood Administration Office, Xuhui District, Shanghai, and a neighborhood administration office in Damuqiao arrested Ms. Gong Naifang, 75 years old, at 10:00 a.m. on July 16, 2010. They took her to Qingpu Brainwashing Center. Her husband, in his 80s, is at home alone.

4. [Chongqing City] More Information about the Persecution of Ms. Chen Shufang
Ms. Chen Shufang was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division, Jiangbei District. She is being held at the Fusheng Town Detention Center in the Jiangbei District, Chongqing.
5. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shi Fengxia Arrested
On the night of September 18, 2010, approximately seven officers from the Foyedong Police Station in Lingyuan City stormed into Ms. Shi Fengxia's home in Caojiagou and took away seven thousand yuan in cash and other items after ransacking her home. Ms. Shi was arrested and now is in the Lingyuan City Detention Center.

6. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] More Information about the Persecution of Mr. Lu Jinyou
On August 5, 2010, Mr. Lu Jinyou from Han Village, Songlindian Town, Zhuozhou City, was arrested by four police officers including Yang Yugang from the Domestic Security Division, Zhuozhou City Police Department. Mr. Lu's home was ransacked and he is now being held at the Zhuozhou City Detention Center. One month later, the arrest warrant for Mr. Lu was approved. He refused to sign the approval document. Yang then found Mr. Lu's daughter and forced her to sign, and also extorted 500 yuan from her. Mr. Lu is currently on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

7. [Gangu County, Gansu Province] More Information about the Persecution of Mr. Niu Ruiyi and Ms. Wang Zhilan
On January 21, 2010, Mr. Niu Ruyi and his wife, Ms. Wang Zhilan, from Qijia Village, Xinxing Town, Gangu County, were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the local police department because they practice Falun Gong. Police officers took away personal property including a computer, a printer ,and also 6,000 yuan in cash from Ms. Wang. She was released on the morning of February 9. Mr. Niu was sentenced to nine years in prison and was taken to Tianshui Prison on September 15, 2010.
8. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang De and Mr. Guo Arrested
On September 17, 2010, Mr. Wang De and Mr. Guo from Jiapigou Golden Mine, Huadian City, were arrested by Liu Yunping from mine police department and other officers from the local police station. They were taken to Yumuqiaozi Brainwashing Center.
9. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Li Xulu Held in the Zhengzhou City Second Detention Center
Mr. Li Xilu, 56 years old, from Zhengzhou City was arrested by officers from the Kaixuan Road Police Station when he was distributing truth-clarifying materials on Zhongyuan Road at 2:00 p.m. on August 28, 2010. They took away a photo of the founder of Falun Gong and Dafa books. Mr. Li is now in the Zhengzhou City Second Detention Center. His family is not allowed to visit him.
10. [Nanpi County, Hebei Province ]Ms. Hou Liandong Arrested
On August 24, 2010, approximately five officers from the Wangsi Police Station, Nanpi County, went to Ms. Zhang Xiying's home in Chenguantun Village. They ransacked her home and took a VCD, satellite receiver, and Dafa books and then arrested her.
That same day, Ms. Hou Liandong from Luzhuangzi, Luguan Township, Nanpi County, and Ms. Xu Wenlan from Beizhuang Village, Luguan Township, were arrested. They are being held in the Nanpi Detention Center.
11. [Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced
In July, 2010, Ms. Huang Shiqing, Ms. Zeng Youlian, and Ms. Yang Chunxiu were arrested when they clarified the truth in Yongxiu County. Ms. Huang and Ms. Zeng were each sentenced to three years in prison and Ms. Yang, to four years.
12. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Shuping Arrested in Beijing
On September 16, 2010, Ms. Wang Shuping from Santaizi in the Huanggu District, Shenyang City, was arrested by officers from the Taipingzhuang Police Station when she was in Beijing. She is in the Haidian District Detention Center, Beijing.

13. [Huili County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xu Guofang Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Xu Guofang, in her 60s, is retired from the Huili County Agriculture Market. On July 28, 2010, she was arrested while she was talking to people about Falun Gong an taken to the Huili County Detention Center. In early September 2010, Ms. Xu was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor.

14. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Elderly Practitioner Ms. Zhou Arrested
On the morning of September 11, 2010, in Zhongshan Park, Wuhan City, Ms. Zhou, in her 70s, was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center. Her son, Mr. Fu Lulin, was sentenced to ten years in prison and is now in Shayang Prison.
15. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] More Information about the Arrest of Ms. Han Kun
At 9:00 a.m. on September 19, 2010, Ms. Han Kun, 56, and her husband Mr. E Xiancai, 55, were arrested at their home by officers from the Xianwei Police Station including Qin Shuli and Ding Wei from the Domestic Security Division. They also arrested Mr. Sui Shengguo, who had come to the couple's home to visit. They were held at the Dandong Detention Center.
Police officers took away three notebook computers, a printer, Dafa books, photographs, and Dafa truth-clarifying materials from Ms. Han's home. They also took 8,000 yuan in cash from Mr. Han. Later, police officers from the Domestic Security Division went to Mr. Sui's home and took a notebook computer and truth-clarifying materials.
On September 21, 2010, Mr. E Xiancai and Mr. Sui Shengguowere taken to the Benxi Forced Labor Camp. Mr. Sui was sentenced to one year of forced labor. Ms. Han is still held in the Dandong Detention Center.

16. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Shi Zengyou Arrested
On August 26, 2010 Mr. Shi Zengyou, from Tanbu Town, Mengyin County was arrested by police officers from Mengyin County. Now his whereabouts are unknown.
17. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Jun Arrested
Mr. Zhang Jun from Panzhihua City was reported and arrested on September 19, 2010. His Dafa books and printer were confiscated from his home.
18. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Mr. Ji Guangying Arrested
Mr. Ji Guangying from Anhui City, in his 50s, was arrested on September 21, 2010.
