(Clearwisdom.net) On November 30, 2010, in front of the gate of Qingshanhu District Court in Nanchang, nearly a hundred Falun Gong practitioners clarified the facts about Falun Gong publicly to judges and police officers, urging them and others in the vicinity to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. The following is an account of what happened.
Falun Gong practitioners Liu Yong, Liao Xiaolin, and Wan Jinlian had been arrested on June 9, 2010, by police officers from the National Security Brigade in Qingshanhu District, Nanchang. They were illegally detained at the No. 1 Detention Center in Nanchang, where they were brutally tortured and interrogated.
On November 30, the Qingshanhu District Court in Nanchang held an illegal trial and attempted to sentence Liu Yong and the other two practitioners.
During the recess at noon, the wards of the court attempted to take Liu Yong and the two other practitioners to a police wagon. At that moment, practitioners who were gathering at the court gate entered the courtroom and clarified the facts about Falun Gong to the judges. They urged the court to release the practitioners. This whole process lasted 20 minutes. When Liu Yong and the two other practitioners were brought to the police car, nearly a hundred Falun Gong practitioners and family members surrounded the car and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Believing in Falun Gong does not constitute a crime!" "They must be acquitted!" Many onlookers came to the scene and many drivers stopped their cars to see what was happening.
The practitioners clarified the facts about Falun Gong to these people, saying that the practitioners were being persecuted. They also clarified the facts to the traffic policemen and distributed truth-clarifying CDs. They urged these people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. As a result, many people passing by quit the CCP, and some expressed their views that Falun Gong practitioners have the freedom of belief and that Falun Gong practitioners are good people. After some of the people became aware that practitioners were still being persecuted, they angrily hit the police wagon and demanded that the court release the practitioners.
The sound of "Falun Dafa is good" resounded for ten minutes. No court staff showed up, and finally the police wagon left the scene very quickly. The court did not announce a verdict.
