(Clearwisdom.net) On February 25, 2010, the Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company began its seven shows at Citizen's Center Grand Auditorium, in Daegu, South Korea. It is Shen Yun's third visit to Daegu. Many renowned people, local residents and visitors came to see the show.
Professor: Compass of human civilization in the twenty-first century
Mr. Mun Kyung-hyun, former director of the Kyungpook National University museum and professor emeritus of Kyungpook National University, is an academic veteran in the South Korean historical circle. After seeing the show, he said emotionally, "China is an outstanding country! Mr. Mun continued, "Shen Yun presents the culture of respecting heaven and believing in gods. It lets people know about the wide spread of Falun Gong in China and the ongoing persecution in China. Throughout history, Chinese people have respected heaven and believed in gods, but now no more. It is regretful."
Renowned Vocalist Says Shen Yun is Spectacular
Mr. Chun Sung Whan, renowned vocalist and chief director of the Korea Performing Arts Promotion Association, attended the second Shen Yun Performing Arts show in Daegu, South Korea on February 26. He said, "Shen Yun does a great job presenting the virtues of the Chinese nation. The combination of Eastern and Western musical instruments is perfect and the composition of all the programs is spectacular. It shows the inner beauty of the artists very well."

Mr. Chun said, "The Shen Yun show reflects the minds of ancient Chinese very well. It is very diversified. I wish we could watch this kind of show more often, especially the professional dancers. Well-known Singer: The wish that people around the world walk together
Ms. Hong Hanako, a well-known singer in South Korea, sang the Olympic theme song in 1988, 'Hand in Hand'. She said emotionally, "The Shen Yun music let me feel the wish again that people around the world walk together."

Museum Director: View the essence of Chinese traditional culture
Mr. Son Chengmu is the director of Thomas Edison Invention Museum, the largest in the world, and former director of the museum association in Gyeongsangbuk. While seeking collection pieces, he traveled around the world. After seeing the show, he said, "In this show, I have seen China's long history and culture, folk, and art of all locations."

Chinese Audience: Like poem and painting, feel very satisfied
Ms. Quan, from China, watched the Shen Yun show with her friends. She felt satisfied, and said, "I have never seen such a beautiful show in China. It is like a poem and painting! The costumes are beautiful and the colors are so nice beyond description. I have never seen such beautiful colors. I wish my friends and relatives in China could see the show."
Ms. Li did not understand Falun Gong before seeing the show. After watching the dance "Astounding Conviction," she was stunned: "The performance of unfurling the banner is very good! I didn't know before. My misunderstanding is gone. I can think in a positive way now."
