Announcing Request for Submissions for World Falun Dafa Day

(Minghui.org) World Falun Dafa Day is May 13, 2010. In order to help people learn what Falun Dafa is, why Falun Dafa is great, and about the history and current situation of how Falun Dafa is being spread around the world, the Minghui editors are asking Falun Dafa disciples around the world to submit their work.

We are asking for submissions of articles, Chinese calligraphy (official script style, Northern Wei stone tablets style, and Kai-regular style), traditional arts and crafts, paintings, photography, music, and interviews in the form of writing, radio, or television.

Background

On Dec. 12^th 2005, during the visit of Luo Gan, former Secretary of Political and Legal Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China, Coordinator of the Office for the Control of Falun Gong (6/10 Office), to Argentina, the Association of Falun Dafa in Argentina filed a lawsuit against Luo Gan for torture and genocide of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The case was accepted by the judge of Federal Criminal Court No. 9, Dr. Octavio Aráoz de Lamadrid.

Internet Freedom Provides Hope (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 23, 2010, Google announced it would end censorship of its service in China and move its server to Hong Kong. Upon hearing this news, Ms. Liao Pei-ju in Taiwan was pleased and hoped that the increased freedom of information on the internet will bring hope to more people.

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Chen Shulan from the Changping District in Beijing was arrested by officers from the Changping District Police Department on September 16, 2002, and was sentenced to seven and a half years. She was held at the Beijing Women's Prison until her release on March 17, 2010, when she was picked up again and taken to the Changping District Brainwashing Center.
