(Clearwisdom.net) I recently saw the solicitation for literary and artistic works for May 13, World Falun Dafa Day, on the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net). My first thought was that the Fa-rectification is progressing quickly and there is now a different form of validating the Fa and saving sentient beings. Veteran practitioners in Changchun were reminded of the art and calligraphy exhibit that we held in 1997. We shared our understandings during several group gatherings.
May 13, 2010 marks the eighteenth year of Master teaching the Fa. The Minghui editors asked Dafa practitioners to submit works to help everyday people understand what Falun Gong is, its history, and its current situation.
Together, the local practitioners have come to understand that we must keep up with the celestial changes and Fa-rectification to fulfill our vows. That means we need to do the project well. The matters of Fa-rectification, saving sentient beings, and personal cultivation are all closely related. We should all do our best to harmonize the issue and give our best to Master. We should validate the Fa, clarify the facts, and save more people.
We noted that the themes were about validating Dafa with dignity and offering testimony to Dafa. We believe in our hearts that the persecution should have ended a long time ago. Dafa disciples are in this effort together, and during this process the remaining evil factors will be eliminated. We will return to how things were before the persecution. We will be promoting the Fa with dignity, using positive information to tell people what Dafa is and why we think it is good.
This request covers a wide scope, including articles, calligraphy, traditional crafts, painting, photography, music, and interviews. Traditional crafts alone include many areas such as sculpture, embroidery, paper cuts, kites, and so on. We should do them in a traditional, upright manner. This process is also one of removing the deviant and returning to the pure. We are leaving the best for the future. Everything we do has its mission and responsibility.
As we discussed, we got more ideas. Of course, many practitioners don't yet know about the request, and some have seen it but don't yet have a good understanding. We also need to cooperate well with others on this. The deadline for submittal is May 5, 2010, so we should get going quickly.
