(Clearwisdom.net) After reading the article "How Much Do We Get Paid to Tell People in Chinatown about Falun Gong?" (http://www.clearwisdom.net/html/articles/2010/4/22/116261.html), I was beset with welling emotions.
Falun Gong practitioners are defending morality and justice and clarifying the facts to people from the goodness in their hearts. However in today's China, morality is deteriorating at a tremendous pace, and many people "live for money, and die for money." Therefore it is only natural that those who live and die for money don't understand the unselfish and noble conduct of Falun Gong practitioners.
It is laughable that whenever the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) finds they can no longer deceive, and quibble to cover up their conduct in the face of the continuous exposure of their crimes by Falun Gong practitioners over the years, they turn around and fabricate lies that "Falun Gong practitioners are doing this for money." They do this attempting to vilify the noble conduct of Falun Gong practitioners, to weaken the power of Falun Gong practitioners' truth-clarification, and to deceive people at the same time. Indeed, some people have been deceived and have developed mistrust and prejudice against Falun Gong practitioners.
Playing such tricks to defame Falun Gong has been a common tactic of the CCP all along. For example, in the early days of the persecution, the CCP fabricated false news about Falun Gong practitioners, claiming they committed suicide or killed people, in order to frame Falun Gong and to stir up the people into hating Falun Gong. They aimed to build up momentum for and justify the persecution. Through the persistent efforts of Falun Gong practitioners in continuously clarifying the facts and exposing the CCP's lies, most people now understand that Falun Gong has very clear principles regarding killing: Dafa cultivators must not kill, committing suicide is also a crime, and genuine Falun Gong practitioners would absolutely not commit suicide. As a result, the lies of "self-immolation," "suicides," and "killing" have all fallen apart and been exposed.
Dafa practitioners are not attached to money. This principle has been emphasized again and again in the Fa. Letting go of this attachment is also the first thing that Falun Gong practitioners should be able to do. For over ten years under the red terror in China, Falun Gong practitioners have risked their lives in clarifying the facts to people. In the process, a great number have suffered persecution, had their families broken up, have disappeared, and many are known to have been killed. Can money buy such heroic actions? Many Falun Gong practitioners overseas belong to the upper classes of society and earn very high wages, and yet they hurry to the front lines of truth-clarification. Can any amount of money give them more than they are already receiving by sitting comfortably in their offices or laboratories and enjoying their high salaries? As for those who have retired, how much money would it take to replace the idyllic peace and joy they get from being with their children and grandchildren?
Not long ago, I went to Taiwan for a visit and saw many practitioners clarifying the facts to tourists from China. Some tourists said, "They're getting paid for doing this." Two day later, I went to another place, and there was an arts and crafts shop run by a Falun Gong practitioner near the hotel where I was staying. Again there were tourists saying, "You see, he would talk to us about the persecution than sell his products." I think, anyone one with clear thinking would be able to compare these two comments, and think it over carefully: What are Falun Gong practitioners actually doing? What kind of people are they?
In fact, just as the article, "How Much Do We Get Paid to Tell People in Chinatown about Falun Gong?" made clear, practitioners have all benefited from Falun Gong, and of course they step forward to clarify the facts in the face of the CCP's lies, to ensure that people correctly understand the facts. It is a natural act of conscience and seeking justice to defend the practice from which they have so greatly benefited. On the contrary, the CCP and its accomplices are the ones who truly "take money to do things." They are very clear about how much money they steal from taxpayers to persecute Falun Gong. They are very clear that if they are without money for even just one single day they can't continue the persecution. They are very clear that the only means by which they can instigate their accomplices to do things for them is by using money. Of course they are even clearer in the knowledge that although they have money and guns, they are most scared when facing the fearless and compassionate Falun Gong practitioners! Because they know that Falun Gong practitioners are doing things with their hearts, and in a most just and compassionate way!
Please come and learn the facts and distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. See clearly the true face of the CCP and quickly quit the CCP and its associated organizations, so that you and your family will have a beautiful future!
