(Clearwisdom.net) My spouse and I are both over seventy years old. We started practicing Falun Dafa in the spring of 1997. For these many years we have persisted in clarifying the facts about Falun Dafa, in order to save sentient beings.
We often send forth righteous thoughts as we distributed informational materials. It was not easy to obtain these fact sheets. People need to treasure what they receive and pass the materials on to their friends and family members. We ask people to remember to regularly recite, "Falun Dafa is good," and we advise them not lose the truth-clarification materials or allow other people to destroy them.
In the process of clarifying the facts we have learned a lot and have encountered many problems. Through our Fa study, our xinxing has improved. Our thoughts are being purified. We let go of selfish thoughts and send forth righteous thoughts to remove interference. We have felt that all of the people that we have encountered have predestined relationships with us and have come across us in order to be saved.
Last year on October 1, my spouse and I went out late at night to post information about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. We selected public places such as big buildings by the highway, waiting rooms for buses, intersections, doors and walls of police stations, and government buildings.
The next day, many people saw our fliers, and fellow practitioners made positive statements about them. Police cars and motorcycles were running around the city and parked at intersections to question passersby. This went on for half a day, yet we were not in any danger.
We understood that we are carrying out righteous activities with the support of Master's fashen and other divine beings. Hence, this form of clarifying the facts about Dafa was quite effective.
We spoke to government workers too. One day we went to the office of the County Judicial Bureau. The director was not in that day and so we went to his home. After some friendly talk about daily affairs, I said in a peaceful tone, "Have you heard about Falun Gong? It is such a great practice that we would like to let others know about its benefits. Teacher asks us to save sentient beings. You are among those being deceived and poisoned by the propaganda from the Chinese Communist Party [CCP]." the director's wife asked, "What about the case of the self-immolation?" I then told her that it was fabricated by the CCP. I also mentioned the Nine Commentaries and the movement of withdrawing from the CCP. They immediately said that they were ready to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. I smiled and said, "From today onward, you do not belong to any party and you are free. But you need to tell your friends and relatives to also withdraw from the party so that they too will receive the benefits."
When we saw them the next day, the director and his wife said, "Good news! all of my family members have decided to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations! This includes my grandchildren, my daughter-in-law and my son who is working in the police department." Furthermore, they had passed on the truth-clarification materials to others and they also started reading Zhuan Falun.
We believe that in the process of clarifying the facts about Dafa, we only need to hold the thought that we want to save sentient beings. Master will then provide us with guidance. Let us have a pure heart, cultivate well, treasure the rare opportunity we have, always remember to save sentient beings, and follow Master to return home.
