Solemn Declaration

I was illegally arrested on July 29, 2008. During my time spent in a detention center and forced labor camp, under pressure from the guards and to avoid physical torture, against my will I wrote the three statements. I endorsed statements disrespectful of Master and Dafa, which I deeply regret. I failed to live up to the expectations of a practitioner, and I could not sleep well for nights because of this. I sincerely apologize to Master and beg for his forgiveness. I also solemnly declare: Whatever I have said or done against Dafa and Master is null and void. From now on, I will steadfastly practice cultivation and study the Fa much harder to make up for the damage I have caused.

Solemn Declaration

I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996, but when the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, officers from the police and public security frequently harassed my family. They took our details and confiscated all our Dafa books and printed materials. The police even threatened to cut off my pension. As I did not study the Fa thoroughly and was momentarily afraid of persecution, against my will I handed over Zhuan Falun, a printed picture of Master Li, and a set of Master' Fa teachings on CD. I also promised not to practice. After that , my wife and I stopped studying the Fa and cultivating. I became a member of the "Senior Citizen Street Patrol," which was established in 2000 to monitor, track, and follow practitioners. Occasionally I would tear down Dafa posters, banners, and other truth clarification materials. What I did caused a lot of damage and had a negative impact on Dafa. I have been in life-threatening situations several times, but it was Master who mercifully saved me from the brink of death time and time again. I now understand and truly regret that I committed such a serious crime, to damage the name of the Fa and Master. In tears, I solemnly declare: The guarantee statement I signed under pressure and whatever wrong things I have done while a member of the "Senior Citizen Street Patrol" are null and void. I will practice Dafa much harder to atone for the damage I have caused. I will do the three things well to save sentient beings. I will follow Master home to become a noble and dignified Dafa disciple.
