(Clearwisdom.net) Recently the Clearwisdom editors published an article entitled "Continue to Walk Well the 'Great Way Without Form.'" I believe it was published in a timely manner and is of absolute importance for reminding us to understand the form of the practice and to cherish the current environment of the practice.
Teacher once told us,
"Don't go to extremes with anything; do things rationally and with a clear head. That is the mighty virtue of a Dafa disciple. Whoever manages to remain steady while following this ordinary-society cultivation format, that person is truly doing what's best in this format of cultivation. If with this format someone exhibits behavior that is out of line with this format and at odds with it, then perhaps that person hasn't done well enough. Since Dafa disciples' cultivation is conducted with a format like this, this format is able to forge Dafa disciples, and it can create incredibly high future Attainment Statuses. Departing from this format or not conforming to it will obstruct your cultivation; those things are actually the product of attachments. " ("Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital")
Teacher leads us to walk the Great Way without form because it is the only form that matches the cosmic teachings, and the only way that can allow practitioners to attain immense Fruit Statuses and which can save sentient beings effectively.
As practitioners, we all want to improve in our cultivation and save more sentient beings. We often wonder what exactly is best to do. For a long time I believed that going out to distribute fliers or doing something with a large-scale format was truly validating the teachings. Subconsciously I thought that doing things in certain forms could better reflect the essence of a Dafa practitioner and the significance of the practice. I treated the form of Dafa work as the most important and ignored the importance of studying Master's teachings and sending righteous thoughts. I did not understand the real form of cultivation and have not cherished the environment that Teacher has arranged for me.
We should save sentient beings in Teacher's given form, cherish our current environment instead of fearing the loss of such an environment, and do our best to validate the Fa within this environment.
