1. [Yilong County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Su Lan Released Following Ten-Day Detention
Officers from the Tumen Town Police Station arrested Mr. Luo Tianjin and Ms. Li Suhua on April 18, 2010. Ms. Li was given a one-year forced labor term. She is now at the Yilong County Detention Center. Ms. Su Lan went to the police station to demand Ms. Li's release, but officer Hu Shuai reported her to the Yilong County Domestic Security Division. Officer Li Changrong from the Domestic Security Division and others arrested Ms. Su at home the evening of April 27, 2010 and ransacked her home. She was released on May 7, 2010, following a ten-day detention.
2. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Zhaoneng Arrested
Mr. Li Zhaoneng, an officer in the Survey Office of the National Bureau of Statistics in Hubei Province, lives in the Wuchang District. Wuhan police arrested him the afternoon of May 10, 2010, and took him to the Hubei Province Brainwashing Center in Banqiao.
3. [Fuping County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Huanrong Returned Home
Ms. Li Huanrong from Hekou Village was arrested at home at 3:00 p.m. on May 4, 2010. Officers from the Fuping County Domestic Security Division led by Zhang Jinhui made the arrest and ransacked her home. They interrogated Ms. Li for the entire afternoon and broke her arm. Zhang Jinhui called Ms. Li's family to take her home in the middle of the night.
4. [Guangdong Province] Luoding City Police and 610 Office Ransack Practitioners' Homes and Harass Their Families
Officers from the Luoding City Police Department and agents from the 610 Office led by Tan Boyong ransacked the homes of Ms. Lin Shuzhen, Ms. Li Jinmei, and Ms. Li Huizhen on November 23-25, 2009. They confiscated their Falun Gong books and informational materials.
Ms. Li Huizhen was absent during the ransacking. The home invaders forced open cabinets and confiscated books, informational materials and 900 yuan in cash. They intimated Ms. Li's family members and often harassed them at home afterwards.
5. [Siping, Jilin Province] Guards at the Shiling Prison Whip Practitioners with Rubber Tubes
Shiling Prison officials put certain inmates on special assignment--to monitor and abuse Falun Gong practitioners. Inmates Han Jingjun and Chen Chuang whipped Mr. Gao Weixi, 70, with rubber tubes on August 15, 2008. The beating severely injured Mr. Gao's back.
Inmates Lu Yanfeng, Wang Guoxiang, and Wang Yanshuang made a whip from wires and beat Mr. Meng Fankui in early September 2009. He was severely bruised, and the skin and flesh on his back was torn. The scars are still visible.

6. [Ningjin County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Yansheng Arrested
Mr. Li Yansheng was arrested the evening of May 10, 2010, as he posted information about Falun Gong. Patrol agents from the Sizhilan Town Police Station made the arrest and took him to the Ningjin County Police Department at 3:00 a.m. the next day.
7. [Puyan, Henan Province] Circumstances of Mr. Li Yinzeng and Ms. Liu Xiugai
Mr. Li Yinzheng, 40, lives in Fan Village, Gaobao Township, Qingefeng County. He went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong on December 30, 2001, and was subsequently sentenced to three years in prison. He was grossly abused and mistreated and was released at the end of the term.
Mr. Li, his sister, Ms. Li Xiugai, and Mr. Yan Ruiqin distributed information about Falun Gong in Weijia Village in January 2010. Village Party secretary Wang Shutian reported them to the police. The Gaobao Township Police Station head and others arrested the three practitioners and took them to the police station. Failing to extort money from the practitioners, the police head sent them to the 610 Office and then to the Qingfeng County Detention Center, where the practitioners were held for six days. They were each given a one-year forced labor term. Mr. Li was sent to the Xuchang City Men's Forced Labor Camp, Ms. Li was sent to the Shibalihe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zhengzhou, and Mr. Yan was released after his family paid 2,500 yuan.

8. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Additional Information Regarding Several Practitioners' Arrests
Seven elderly practitioners were arrested at Ms. Chen Jingying's home at 9:00 a.m. on April 27, 2010. Officers from the Ziyang Road Police Station and from the Jiefang Road community made the arrests. The practitioners included Ms. Chen Jingying, Ms. Yan Fuxiang, Ms. Wu Keyan, Ms. Zhang Juxiang, Ms. Zheng Shuangfeng, and Ms. Wu Silan. Ms. Liu, 78, was released because she had high blood pressure.
We have learned that Ms. Wu Keyan and Ms. Zhang Juxiang are being held at the Dongxihu Women's Forced Labor Camp, and Ms. Yan Fuxiang, Ms. Zheng Shuangfeng and Ms. Wu Silan are now at the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.
9. [Dongfeng County, Jilin Province] Ms. Lu Liyun Arrested
Ms. Lu Liyun was arrested on the morning of May 8, 2010, as she distributed information about Falun Gong. Officer Zhuang Guilian and others from the Dongfeng County Domestic Security Division made the arrest. We learned later that the police had followed Ms. Lu for several days. Her home was ransacked. She is now at the Liaoyuan City Detention Center.
10. [Shishou City, Hubei Province] Circumstances of Ms. Liu Qiong-
Shishou City Court officials handed Ms. Liu Qiong, from Xinchang Town, a five-year prison term for speaking with people about Falun Gong and the persecution. Ms. Liu's family appealed the sentence to the Jingzhou City Intermediate Court. They were told that the verdict could be reduced to two years in prison, but they would have to pay the officials about 20 thousand yuan. The family was unable to come up with such a huge amount of money, so Ms. Liu was eventually sentenced to four years in prison. Neither she nor her family would sign the verdict. Ms. Liu was sent to the Hubei Province Women's Prison in Wuhan where she was held in Ward No. 7. Her family went to visit her several times but the prison officials turned them away. Due to the family's persistent demands, they were eventually permitted to meet with Ms. Liu for two minutes on her birthday on December 25, 2009.

Mr. Wang Xu was arrested at work at 11:30 a.m. on May 10, 2010. Officers from the Nanxinzhuang Police Station made the arrest.

Officers from the Shengli Police Station in Chaoyang County arrested Ms. Li Jingjun, who is in her 50s, on April 30, 2010. Her car was confiscated, and she is now in the Chaoyang County Detention Center. The car is impounded at the Chaoyang County Domestic Security Division.

Ms. Zhao Meihua from Kenli County was arrested on May 7, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong. Six officers from the Kenli County Police Department ransacked her home. She is now in the Kenli County Detention Center.

14. [Harbin, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Jinlian and Her Family Harassed and Intimidated
Ms. Liu Jinlian, in her 70s, from the Daowai District was twice subjected to forced labor and taken into custody numerous times. On sensitive days, officers from the community and from the police station harassed and intimidated her and her family at home.
Xinle Community head Fan knocked on the door of Ms. Liu's daughter's home at 9:00 p.m. on May 4, 2010. She forced Ms. Liu's daughter to sign a guarantee statement.
Officers from the Xinle Police Station and staff from the Xinle Community harassed Ms. Liu and her family numerous times in April 2010.

15. [Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province] Circumstances of Mr. Pan Feng and Others
A group of police officers who were staked out in the Gaojiaoyuan Area of Binjiang District arrested Mr. Pan Feng on June 28, 2009, as he distributed information about Falun Gong. Binjiang District Court officials tried him covertly in April 2010.
Several other practitioners were subjected to forced labor and prison terms. Mr. Pan, born in 1980, from Huainan City, Anhui Province, was given a seven-year prison term. Ms. Yong Yulian, an accountant, born in 1968, from Yueyang City, Hunan Province, was given a three-and-a-half year prison term. Ms. Zhou Junhua, an accountant, born in 1978, from Hanzhong, Shaanxi Province, was given an eight-year prison term.
16. [Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province] Ms. Duan Wenying and Others Arrested and Severely Abused
Ms. Duan Wenying, Ms. Duan Wenyan, and Ms. Ning Yuying from Louzhangzi Township, Qinglong County, were arrested the morning of May 9, 2010, as they spoke with people about Falun Gong in Liangshuihe Township. Political head Liu Xiangchun and a group of officers from the Liangshuihe Township made the arrests. Liu Xiangchun severely abused the three practitioners, injuring Ms. Duan Wenying's face and Ms. Duan Wenyan's hands. Two officers carried Ms. Ning onto a police vehicle. Li Yinqing from the Domestic Security Division and other officers took the practitioners to the Qinglong County Detention Center. They proceeded to ransack the practitioners' homes.

17. [Xingtai, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Xiaotao and Ms. Wei Suguo Arrested
Mr. Li Xiaotao from Caochang Village, Ningjin County, and Ms. Wei Suguo from Lijiazhuang Village were arrested on the afternoon of May 10, 2010. Xingtai City police made the arrests.
18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrests of Ms. Wu Shuqin and Ms. Zhang Yuhua
Ms. Wu Shuqin and Ms. Zhang Yuhua from the Jinzhou District were arrested on April 23, 2010, as they spoke with people about Falun Gong. Officers from the Yongzheng Police Station in the Jinzhou District made the arrests and ransacked their homes. The two practitioners were taken to the Jinnan Road Drug Rehabilitation Center that same evening and transferred to the Yaojia Detention Center a few days later. Their families are forbidden to visit them.

19. [Ningjin County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Yuntao Arrested
Mr. Li Yutao, a teacher at Caochang Elementary School in Caochang Village, Leijiazhuang Township, was arrested while he was teaching on the afternoon of May 10, 2010. Qiao Zhibing, who is in charge of all schools in Leijiazhuang Township, led officers from the Ningjin County Police Department to make the arrest. They took Mr. Li to the Xingtai Law Education Center, a brainwashing facility.

20. [Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Fenglan Given a Three-Year Prison Term
Officers from the Baozili Police Station arrested Ms. Xu Fenglan prior to the 2008 Olympics. Local 610 Office agents forced her family to pay 50, 000 yuan to secure her release but refused to release her once they had the money. Ms. Xu was eventually sentenced to three years in prison.

Ms. Gu Qiya, Ms. Gu Shaoqing, and about ten other practitioners and their families are from Huangchuan County. They work part time in Tong Township, Zhejiang Province. Officers from the Tong Township Police Station arrested them at their workplaces or at home the morning of May 11, 2010.

Ms. Liu Fuhua from Wang Village was arrested the morning of May 10, 2010, on her way to a market. Zhou Village 610 Office agents and officers from the Wang Village Police Station made the arrest and took her to the Wang Village Police Station.
23. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrests of Ms. Zhang Xiuli and Others
Ms. Zhang Xiuli, Ms. Guan Yuqin, and Mr. Liu Dejun were arrested and held in a detention center. Their families are forbidden to visit them. Their families then went to the Nangang District Domestic Security Division to demand their release, but their requests were denied.

Mr. Cong Zhongxiao was arrested as he spoke with people about Falun Gong. He is now at the Shizuizi Detention Center in Liaoyang.

27. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Shihong Given a Four-Year Prison Term
Jiang'an District Court officials tried Ms. Li Shihong on April 7, 2010. Ms. Li defended herself in court, exposing the police's fabricated evidence. The verdict was not announced at the conclusion of the trial. Ms. Song Wenxiu, Ms. Wu Bilin, Ms. Huang Jing, and Ms. Sun Jingping went to the court to indict the police officers for unlawful arrest and for fabricating evidence against Ms. Li Shihong, but the four practitioners were arrested. Mr. Li Shihong was covertly sentenced to four years in prison.
28. [Ankang, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Luo Changyun's Prison Term Extended
Ms. Luo Changyun, a teacher at Yonghong Middle School in Ankang, was sentenced to five years in prison. She appealed and was given a nine-year prison term. She was transferred from the Koujiagou Detention Center to a prison in Shaanxi Province on April 14, 2010. It was the ninth time she has been held in custody.
The police officers forced Ms. Luo's family to pay 500,000 yuan for her previous arrests and detention.
29. [Luanping County, Hebei Province] Additional Information Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Gao Shuzhen and Ms. Wang Haiyan
Ms. Gao Shuzhen and Ms. Wang Haiyan were sent to Tiantanghe Women's Prison Dispatch Division in the Daxing District on April 27, 2010. They are awaiting transfers to their hometowns or other places to be held.
30. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Jingxiang Subjected to a Forced Labor Term
Ms. Wang Jingxiang from Tianjin was arrested on March 30, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong. Officers from the Wushuidao Police Station in the Hexi District made the arrest. She was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor on April 27, 2010, and taken to the Banqiao Women's Forced Labor Camp. She has been on a protest hunger strike and is very weak.
31. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Lu Held at the Yaojia Detention Center
Ms. Ding Lu, in her 50s, was arrested on March 11, 2009, and taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, to be held for one and a half years. Ms. Ding was covertly transferred from Masanjia to the Yaojia Detention Center in February 2010.
Someone reported her to the police on March 7, 2009, as she spoke with her neighbors about Falun Gong and handed them Shen Yun performance DVDs. Officers from the Renmin Square Police Station arrested her on March 11, 2009. Her family was informed on April 1, 2009, that Ms. Ding was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and held in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. It was her third incarceration in Masanjia.
Ms. Ding's family discovered that she had not returned home on March 11, 2009. They checked items at home and found that a computer, a printer, a Walkman player, and 3,000 yuan in cash were gone. Her family asked about her at the Nanshidao Police Station. The police head told them that Ms. Ding was reported and arrested for distributing information about Falun Gong.
