Ms. Gao Qingqin from Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, has been detained in the First Team of the Third Division at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp since December 2, 2009. Her health problems that had disappeared through practicing Falun Dafa have recurred as a result of persecution, but the labor camp has refused to release her for medical treatment.

Ms. Gao used to have breast cancer, but after she practiced Falun Gong, she became healthy. Due to the persecution, she again has symptoms of breast cancer and is in poor health. Her relatives asked the labor camp to release her on medical bail but were told that her situation does "not comply with the conditions of a medical bail."

On November 5, 2009, Ms. Gao was reported to police while she was distributing Falun Gong truth clarification materials. Officers from the Shuiquan Police Station arrested her, and she was sent to the labor camp.

Her nerves are affected, and she has no feeling in her thumbs ir neck. The hard lump in her right breast is getting larger. A new lump has developed in the left breast, causing her much pain. On May 17 her relatives asked the labor camp to release her, but the labor camp is delaying her case. When her relatives asked to see her medical records, labor camp officials said, "We will show you when the test results come in." Yang, the chief of the Third Division, said "We want to release her, too. But it will not be authorized by our superiors even if we were to submit her application, because her condition does not meet the conditions for medical bail."

Ms. Gao Qingqin's daughter is in high school and lives with relatives.
