(Clearwisdom.net) The police from Jinyang City 610 Office and Jinyang City Police Department in Sichuan Province illegally arrested four practitioners including Mr. Deng Chengkai, Mr. Zhong Shikai, Ms. Liu Tao and Ms. Xiao Shifeng in June 2009. Recently, Deng Chengkai and Liu Tao were unlawfully sentenced to eight years and six years of imprisonment, respectively.

The police from the 610 Office and the police department broke into Deng Chengkai's home and arrested him on the evening of June 22, 2009.

At almost the same time, head of Fucheng District Police Department in Jinyang City instructed the police to arrest Mr. Zhong Shikai and his wife, Ms. Liu Tao. In addition, the police ransacked their home twice, on June 22 and June 23, taking away six bags of personal belongings.

Moreover, the police arrested Ms. Xiao Shifeng who is in her 60's at 10:30 am on June 23, and took away two bags of personal belongings.

Before this arrest, Mr. Deng Chengkai had already been subjected to unlawful imprisonment twice.

The first time was in 2001. Mr. Deng was arrested while clarifying the truth about Falun Gong with another practitioner, and was given one year of forced labor. While being detained in Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Jinyang City, he was subjected to brainwashing, corporal punishment and various forms of torture. In order to "transform" him, the guards once forced him to squat down on the ground for two days straight without allowing him to go to the toilet.

The second time was in February 2002. Mr. Deng was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials with another fellow practitioner, then subjected to two years of imprisonment.
