(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Wang Cailian is missing after she was arrested in the end of May for distributing Falun Gong fliers.
She was arrested by officers Wang Jingzi and Han Tongfei at approximately 8:00 p.m. on May 24, 2010 while she was distributing Falun Gong fliers. They took her to the Hongdao Town Police Station, where Security Team commander Xiao Jitai and two officers beat her. Xiao slapped her face a dozen times. After this beating, she felt dizzy. She was unable to move her right side and almost lost consciousness.
At approximately 9:00 p.m., Xiao Jitai, member of the Suliu Village Committee Lu Liangshen, and director of the Hongdao Town 610 Office Li Degao led two dozen officers to illegally search her home. Even though there was no one at home and the doors were locked, the officers climbed over her fence. They ransacked her home and seized her Falun Gong books.
Her family has been asking the Hongdao Town Police Station for her release. Police have claimed that she has already been released, but her family has not seen her.
