(Clearwisdom.net) The New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts Company wowed audiences at the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco, California, on July 23-25, 2010.

The Mannings flew from Los Angeles to San Francisco to see the Saturday afternoon show of Shen Yun Performing Arts on July 24.

"It's a Very Beautiful Dance Presentation"

After finding about Shen Yun while on a recent business trip to Sydney, Australia, John Manning and his wife, Marjorie, flew in from Southern California to see the show.

The Mannings are in the newspaper printing business and found out about the show from one of their clients, The Epoch Times.

After realizing that they were too late to attend the show in Los Angeles, they decided to fly to San Francisco to see Shen Yun.

Mr. Manning said it was a "beautiful show," to which Mrs. Manning agreed, "Oh, it was very, very beautiful. The costumes, the dance is amazing."

The "Fairies of the Clouds," was particularly impressive to Mr. Manning. "It almost looked like the maidens were on wheels. You couldn't see them walk--it's fascinating, very beautiful," he said.

This was the first time the couple had seen Shen Yun. "We weren't even aware of Shen Yun. So now we are. Now we'll recommend it to all of our friends," explained Mr. Manning.

It is "some of the best dancing I've ever seen," he said, adding, "Yes, beautiful--just beautiful. It's a very beautiful dance presentation. The music, the dance--spectacular!"

Writer: "One of the Most Fabulous Shows I've Ever Seen"

Paul Seaman and his wife enjoyed Shen Yun Performing Arts at San Francisco's War Memorial House.

Paul Seaman, a writer, attended the show with his wife, Cathy Lockhard.

After watching the performance, he said, "It was definitely one of the most fabulous shows I've ever seen. What I appreciated the most was the variety of things. I didn't expect so much variety in the dancing. I enjoyed the music as much as the performance," Paul exclaimed.

Continuing, he said, "It was a very clever use of the back screen--computer-generated scenery--it was very clever. The costumes in the performance were just spectacular.

"I really appreciated that second to last number where they showed the persecution of [Falun Gong practitioners] in China. I didn't expect to see that in an opera performance. I think that was very appropriate. I was glad to see that."

Cathy also enjoyed the show and the variety of the dances, saying, "I loved the different colors and the different kinds of dance."

Retired Corporate Events Manager: "It's Wonderful. It's Stunning!"

Merrill, a retired corporate events manager, and her friend, Patricia, thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Having been previously exposed to classical Chinese dance, Patricia said that Shen Yun was very different from what she had seen before.

She said, "I like it--there is a difference. It feels very--it's very precise in the movements, it's very graceful. It's just everything--the way they do their movements, the postures. It's pretty elegant. Soft."

Merrill agreed, adding, "Just elegant, soft, precision. The dancers are all young and adorable. I was just amazed. Just how their feet moved and everything about them. It's wonderful. We're delighted we came."

Merrill thought the orchestra exuded a "different sound for us. It's stunning! And also I can't get over the precision, the softness. Very, very good."

Patricia said, "I think it's beautifully done. It's a very gracious show. In terms of the presentation and the energy that goes into it, is beautiful. It's beautiful energy coming from there."
