(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 19 Falun Dafa practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tang Hongyan Held in Fushun City Detention Center
On June 30, Ms. Tang Hongyan, in her 40s, from Nanbeitai District, Fushun City, was arrested while she was handing out information about the persecution and explaining the truth about Falun Dafa. Officers from Yongantai Police Station put her in the Fushun City Detention Center.

2. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Guilan, Ms. Wang Yuefang, and Others Arrested
In the afternoon on June 30, 2010, Ms. Yu Guilan and Ms. Wang Yuefeng were taken to Tonghua City Brainwashing Center.
On June 30, Tunghua City's Ms. Jin Min was arrested.
3. [Yanqing City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lang Dongyue Arrested
At nine o'clock on the morning of June 14, Ms. Lang Dongyue was arrested and taken to Daxing County.
4. [Changli County, Hebei Province] Mr. Hao Yuanchao and His Wife Persecuted
On the morning of June 29, 2010, Mr. and Mrs. Hao, Falun Dafa practitioners in Changli Town, Changli County, were arrested by police from Changli Town and jailed in Changli Detention Center.
5. [Tianjin City] Ms. Pan Guixiang and Other Practitioners Persecuted
In February 2010, five practitioners including Ms. Pan Guixiang were arrested while they were clarifying the truth in Xiejiazhuan Village, and four of them were sentenced using false charges to 18 months in a forced labor camp. One practitioner was released after paying 10,000 yuan.
6. [Manzhouli City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Zhang Yu and Mr. Xing Shuguang Sentenced
Ms. Zhang Yu was illegally sentenced to a seven-year prison term, and Mr. Xing Shuguang was given a jail term of four years.
7. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Providence] Mr. Wang Ruihai Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
On August 16, 2009, when Mr Wang Ruihai, 30, a resident of Baofangqiao Village, Xinning County, Shaoyang City, was getting off a train on his way home from Shanghai, he was stopped and searched by two policemen. When they found Dafa books in his luggage, he was arrested and taken to Xinning Detention Center. They also took away his laptop computer, MP3 player, and more than 6,000 yuan in cash.
8. [Dazhu County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Jinkun Arrested
On July 2, 2010, at about 10:30 a.m., Ms. Wang Jinkun was arrested by Zhuyang Town Police Station officers and taken to Dazhou City Brainwashing Center.
9. [Jiayu County, Hubei Province] Ms. He Guihong Arrested
On July 1, 2010, Ms. He Guihong, a resident of Panwan Town, Jiayu County, was handcuffed and arrested.
10. [Chongqing City] Ms. Feng Ping Arrested
At about 8:30 a.m., on June 30, 2010, Ms. Feng Ping of the Changshou District, Chongqing City, was arrested by policemen stationed in a hospital. She was later taken to a brainwashing center in an unknown, hidden location. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

11. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Shen Baogui Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison
Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Shen Baogui, a resident of Gongzhuling and a teacher at Siping Agricultural Engineering School, was arrested on April 16, 2009, and a typewriter, personal computer, and other items were confiscated and not returned. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison by Gongzhuling Court on July 2, 2009.
12. [Gansu Province] Mr. Li Tianxiao Arrested
Ganzhou District practitioner Mr. Li Tianxiao was arrested at the end of May 2010. He is still in Xindun Detention Center.
13. [Beijing] Ms. Huang Runyu's Term Illegally Extended by Hohhot Women's Forced Labor Camp in Mongolia
Ms. Huang Runyu, a resident of Yangzhen in the Shunyi District of Beijing, had her forced labor term illegally extended by two years on June 2, 2008. She is detained at Hohhot Women's Forced Labor Camp in Mongolia. She should be released on June 2, 2010.
14. [Hebei Province] Ms. Han Xinlin Arrested
Ms. Han Xinlin was distributing Falun Dafa information materials in the Qinhuang District as she was walking home after work. At 2:00 a.m. on June 25, 2010, she was arrested by Jiang Zhuo, director of Jianshe Avenue Police Station, Qinhuangdao.
15. [Jinan, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Xianglan Arrested
Jinan Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Han Xianglan was on her way home after taking her granddaughter to school in the morning on June 20. She was arrested by four undercover police officers at a farmer's market. Her whereabouts is unknown.
16. [Bengbu City, Anhui Province] 610 Office Arrests Falun Gong Practitioners and Persecutes Them in a Brainwashing Center
The CCP Politics and Law Commission and 610 Office in Bengbu City opened a brainwashing center in Bengbu Aviation College to persecute Falun Gong practitioners on June 22, 2010. Practitioners who have been sent to the center include Ms. Shi Caifeng, who is retired from the Donghai Tobacco Factory and has been released and sent home; Ms. Liao Jianwen, a teacher at Zhanggong Middle School in Bengbu; and Ms. Gao Meiying.
17. [Chongqing] Ms. Kuang Xinrong Taken to Yongchuan Prison
Chongqing Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Kuang Xinrong was secretly sentenced to four years in prison. On June 11, 2010, Kuang Xinrong was taken to the 8th prison segment at Yongchuan Prison.
18. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Updates on Ms. Jiang Xinghua and Ms. Jiang Xianyan from Wuko Town
Wuko Town practitioners Ms. Jiang Xinghua and Ms. Jiang Xianyan are being held in Pingjiang County Detention Center. Their families asked the National Security Division for the women to be released. Their requests were denied.

19. [Yongji City, Jiangxi Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Ms. Wang Liying, Ms. Zhang Ailan, and Qi Weisheng Sentenced
In June 2010, Yongji Court House opened a session and sentenced Ms. Wang Liying and Ms. Zhang Ailan to four years in prison, and Qi Weisheng to three years in prison.
20. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Mr. Guo Baishu and Three Others Arrested
Changchun Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Guo Baishu and three others were arrested by Xiaonan Detention Center when the four were telling people the truth about Falun Gong on June 29, 2010. They were sent to the National Security Division.
21. [Jiangsu Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jianzhong Arrested
On May 8, 2010, Mr. Zhang Jianzhong, a Hong Kong resident, was arrested in his family-owned supermarket in Liqiao Town, the Xuanzhou District, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, by the Xuancheng National Security Team. He is currently detained in Yangliuqing in Xuancheng.
