(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Lincheng County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhu Guanzhen and Mr. Wang Lianbin Persecuted by Li Qingshan from the 610 Office
On June 4, 2010, Li Qingshan, the Director of the Lincheng County 610 Office, sent Mr. Zhu Guanzhen and Mr. Wang Lianbin to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center.
2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Zuhan Arrested
At about 4:00 pm, June 24, 2010, Mr. Li Zuhan from Wuhan City was arrested at home by six or seven officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Jiaokou Branch of the Public Security Bureau. Mr. Li is now held at the Etouwan Brainwashing Center in Jiaokou District, Wuhan City.

3. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wan Chao Persecuted
Mr. Wang Chao was a teacher in Langjun Town, Yingcheng City. He was arrested and detained several times with no cause and had to move from place to place in order to avoid the persecution. During that period, his salary was held by authorities in charge of the education system. The Education Bureau then dismissed Mr. Wang when he came home in 2007.
4. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liao, in Her Sixties, Was Arrested by Staff from the 610 Office and Officers from the Police Station on the Morning of June 28.
5. [Langzhong City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Xingyu Arrested
During the morning of June 24, 2010, Mr. Liu Xingyu, a seventy-six-year-old from Langzhong City, was framed while he was telling people about the persecution Falun Gong at Baiguoshujie. He was later arrested by officers from Xicheng Police Station. At about 4:00 pm on the same day, Mr. Liu was taken to the Xishan Brainwashing Center in Nanchong City.
6. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Niu Xiue Sent to Forced-Labor Camp
On June 12, officers from the Gaomo Township Police Station and the Yi County Domestic Security Division charged into Ms. Niu Xiue's house at Beishen Village without following legal procedure. They threatened that they would send Ms. Niu to a forced-labor camp as soon as they found a single piece of paper with information about Falun Gong. They then arrested Ms. Niu. On the next day, they took her to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced-labor Camp for a one year term.

7. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Lanying and Mr. Wang Ping Held in Chiping County Detention Center
On the afternoon of June 26, 2010, Ms. Zhang Lanying and Mr. Wang Ping were arrested while they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Beiyangji. They were held in the Development Zone Branch of the Liaocheng City Public Security Bureau. Later they were taken to Chaping Detention Center and jailed there for fifteen days.
8. [Beijing] Ms. Xue Yanping Jailed in Haidian District Detention Center
Ms. Xue Yanping was turned in while she was handing out informational materials around 2:00 pm, June 2, 2010. She was arrested by officer Chen from Qinghe Police Station and is now held in Haidian District Detention Center.
9. [Beijing] Ms. He Xinping and Ms. Du Juan Arrested
At the end of April 2010, Mr. He Xinping was arrested by officers and taken to the Chaoyang Detention Center. Her whereabouts became unknown later.
On May 6, Ms. Du Juan was also taken to the Chaoyang Detention Center.
10. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Yufeng Arrested and Her Whereabouts Unknown
In May of 2010, Ms. Zhao Yufeng, from Chaoyang District, was arrested at her workplace by officers from the Xinyuanli Police Station in Chaoyang District and was taken to the Chaoyang Detention Center. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
11. [Wuhan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xiao Yingxue Arrested by Officers from Xinanjie Police Station
On the afternoon of June 27, 2010, Ms. Xiao Yingxue was reported to the police while she was informing people about the persecution of Falun Gong and was arrested by officers from the Xinanjie Police Station. At about 10:30 pm the same day, she was taken to the Etouwan Brainwashing Center.

12. [Wuhan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Kewei and Ms. Yuan Peizhen Arrested
Mr. Liu Kewei from the Caidian District of Wuhan City, along with Ms. Yuan Peizhen and two others, were reported to the police by a villager while distributing information about Falun Gong in Guangxu Village, Bai Town, Caidian District, on the morning of June 26, 2010. They were arrested by officers from the Bailinjie Police Station.
Liu Kewei's car was unlawfully held by the Ancient Relics Protection Division of the Caidian District Branch of the Public Security Bureau Branch. Liu Kewei was taken to the Wuhan City No.1 Detention Center. Yuan Peizhen was taken to the Wuhan City No. 2 Detention Center.
13. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Rugang Arrested
Mr. Liu Rugang is in his sixties and works for the Beian Veterinary Hospital in Heilongjiang Province. On June 24, 2010, he left his hometown in Hebei Province and took a train to go back to Beian City in Heilongjiang Province. On June 25, when he arrived at the Beian Train Station, he was arrested by officers from Beian Police Station. His whereabouts are unknown.
14. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] News about Mr. Gong Deyuan and His Wife Ms. Yan Shuzhou
Mr. Gong Deyuan and Ms. Yan Shuzhou, a couple from Shaoyang City, were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Daxiang District Branch of the Shaoyang City Public Security Bureau on April 18, 2009. They were unlawfully tried by the Daxiang District Court on March 3, 2010 and sentenced to four and half years of imprisonment.

15. [Beihai City, Guangxi Province] Mr. Tan Zezhen Arrested on June 26 and His Home Ransacked. His whereabouts are Unknown.
16. [Wugong County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Fang Ge Sentenced to One and a Half Years in a Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Fang Ge is a forty-seven-year-old woman from Gongjia Village, Nanren Township, Wugong County. At about 6:00 pm on April 26, 2010, staff from Wugong County 610 Office and the Nanren Township Comprehensive Management Office in Wugong County, along with officers from the Wugong County Public Security Bureau, charged into Fang Ge's home and arrested her. At the same time, they took away Falun Gong books, CDs, etc. Ms. Fang was held in the Zhouzhi Detention Center in Xian City for over forty days. Then the Wugong County Public Security Bureau decided to send her to a forced-labor camp for a term of one and a half years and took her to the Xian Women's ForcedLabor Camp.
