Falun Dafa Practitioners Participate in Independence Day Parades in America (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) July 4, 2010 was the 234th Independence Day of the United States of America. Many people organized large scale parades to celebrate the day and to express their pride in "the land of freedom." Falun Dafa practitioners participated in many parades all around the country.

This was the 106th Huntington Beach Parade, which is known as the largest parade west of the Mississippi River. Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the parade as the only Chinese ethnic group. The Falun Dafa procession was led by a large "Falun Dafa" banner. The practitioners on the float demonstrated the exercises and other practitioners marching along the float waved American flags to the spectators. The Falun Dafa float won the second place award in the parade.

The grand parade began at 10 am on July 3, 2010. Over seventy groups participated in the parade.
Falun Dafa practitioners participated in this parade for the first time. The group presented a lotus flower float, waist drums, and a flag team and they received a very warm welcome from the spectators.

Located in the northern suburbs of Chicago, the Independence Day Parade in Evanston, Illinois is the third largest parade in America. Falun Dafa practitioners have been invited to participate in the parade for many years.
The parade in Evanston started at 2 pm on July 4, 2010. The Falun Dafa group presented a decorated float, exercise demonstration, Celestial Maiden Dance Team, and a Tang Drum Team. The spectators gave them warm applause along the two mile route.

The people on the remote island of Saipan also celebrate America's Independence Day. On July 4, 2010, the Falun Dafa Association was invited to the annual Independence Day Parade. The Falun Dafa procession consisted of the Divine Land Marching Band, Celestial Maiden Dance Team, Lion Dance, Waist Drum Team and a decorated float.
In the evening, the Divine Land Marching Band, Celestial Maiden Dancing Team, Lion Dance, and Waist Drum Team performed again on the stage. The band played "Falun Dafa Is Good," "The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos," "Ode to Joy" and the American national anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner." The audience cheered happily after every performance. Many spectators raised their thumbs and called out "Falun Dafa is good!"
