I started to practice Falun Dafa in the fall of 1996. Falun Dafa saved my life.

I was born in 1957 in poor health. I almost died when I was seven years old. After I got married, my family life was hard. My husband was lazy and did not like to work. My first daughter was born with a disfigured face. It took two years to correct it and now it is normal. My health continued to get worse: headaches, pain in the eyes, back pain, stomach pain, leg pain, pain in the heels, severe arthritis, etc. My life was so difficult.

At that time, I could barely open my eyes. It hurt so much to open my eyes that tears would come out. I just wanted to keep my eyes closed. My husband worked during the day and had to look after me until midnight. He complained that life was too hard on him.

In 1996 a big lump grew on my neck. I could not eat or drink. My body often trembled. My sister paid for an operation to remove the lump, but one month later my body still would not stop shaking. I was unable to hold food down. Another big lump grew on the right side of my neck. I wondered if I would survive this time.

That year my sister started to practice Falun Dafa. She said "You cannot just lie there and wait for death. Why don't you practice Falun Gong?" However, I had very little education, as I only finished the third grade in elementary school. Poverty and illness worried me. I would not listen to her. I smiled. My sister said, "Why you are smiling?" I said to myself "I am ready for death!"

My two daughters learned Falun Dafa from my sister. After school they finished the laundry and their homework first, then my elder daughter led my younger daughter to practice Falun Gong. They always practiced in front of me. I recall very little from that time. My mind was not clear and I could not focus on anything, as though I did not see anything. I had no reaction. I don't know how many times they practiced in front of me.

On an autumn day, while my daughters were practicing in front of me, a sentence came out of my mouth (I do not know how it came out): "Please bring me Master's exercise instruction book." My eight year old daughter rode her grandpa's bike, carrying me to my sister's home. I weighed very little at that time. My sister taught me right away after seeing that I wanted to practice. I only learned the first exercise. It was all I could do before having to rest. My sister gave me Master's exercise instruction book. After I got home, my daughters kept teaching me. I read Master's exercise instruction book every day, and gradually I learned how to do the exercises. That is when I started to practice Falun Dafa, and began my new life. Master gave me a new life.

At that time I only studied Falun Gong. I did not know how to read very many characters. My twelve year old daughter looked words up in a dictionary to teach me. In the beginning I had to close my eyes after reading every two lines due to the pain in my eyes. Although I did not study the Fa very much, Master was already taking care me compassionately, using my younger daughter's mouth to give me hints. When my husband cursed at me, my younger daughter would say, "My dad is giving you virtue." Looking at my daughter, and remembering what is said in the book, I was not moved by the curse. Every time I went through the elimination of sickness karma, I remembered that I was a practitioner, and did not even have the thought of taking medication.

After two months of practice, Master removed all my illnesses, and now my eyes are so much better that I can even study several paragraphs of the Fa in poor light. The lump on my neck disappeared. All the illnesses that plagued me for thirty years disappeared.

Falun Dafa changed my fate and the fate of my family. I don't need to spend money to buy medication. Our lives are constantly getting better. My face is glowing, and my body is light. I feel that my feet barely touch the ground when I walk. No one can compete with me when working, nor do I feel tired after working. I finally now experience a life without illness!

The words "Falun Dafa is good" have been spread across every village in our area. My 90 year-old mother-in-law tells every one passing by the wonders of Falun Dafa. Although she does not practice Falun Dafa, she enjoys spreading the Fa, and telling every one "Falun Dafa saved my daughter-in-law. If she had not practiced Falun Dafa, she would not have survived".

In July of 1999, the CCP, led by Jiang Zemin, started the persecution of Falun Gong. I was sent to the Masanjia Labor Camp in Liaoning Province in 2002 for distributing truth clarification materials. I was tortured for three years and two months, then my husband divorced me due to his fear of the CCP. He also helped the CCP to persecute me. The CCP's brutal persecution could not change my heart for firmly practicing Falun Dafa.
