(Clearwisdom.net) I have been thinking about some recent persecution and interference that happened to our local practitioners, and found that some people who did not understand the truth wound up reporting Falun Gong practitioners to the authorities. Even though they were told about the truth of Falun Gong and advised of the importance of quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, they still followed the CCP in the persecution. It seems that practitioners were taken advantage of by the old forces due to their attachments. However, it was also related to the fact that local practitioners have not clarified the basic truth of Falun Gong well enough.
In the last two years, we have paid great attention to distributing every kind of truth-clarification material to save people, but due to a neglect of explaining the basic facts about Falun Gong, some non-practitioners still lack a basic understanding of what Falun Gong is. Although they have read these truth-clarification materials, their understanding of the basic information of Falun Gong is not sufficient. Also, some people still have questions and doubts as a result of Falun Gong having been discredited by the CCP propaganda. For instance, why don't you practice at home, why do you distribute materials? Why do you ask people to quit the CCP, and so on. These questions have not been explained clearly enough, and we have not paid enough attention to explaining the facts thoroughly and clearly to people. Although lately people are becoming more aware of the true situation, it has been a long time since practitioners distributed basic information about Falun Gong. Due to the fact that people's memory tends to fade, or maybe because some people did not dare to read the information earlier, it has caused them to be unable to understand practitioner's current truth-clarification. Thus, there is contradiction and disturbance.
Currently, we need to urgently make available the most basic information about Falun Gong for those people who have just awakened from the lies of the CCP. We must help them thoroughly understand the compassionate acts of Falun Gong practitioners. Once this is achieved, it will reduce the interference to practitioners' salvation of sentient beings. Therefore, we should still seriously produce and distribute the most basic Falun Gong information, such as questions and answers about Falun Gong, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, etc. Of course, I do not mean to stop anyone from making Shen Yun DVDs, but don't neglect the basic Falun Gong information, either. We need to help people understand Falun Gong at the most basic level. First, help them establish a positive and correct understanding of Falun Gong, and from there, they can ask questions and find out more. Just like children who have just begun to go to school; first they have to have the correct study habits and concepts, and then they learn the details of addition and subtraction, followed by the times tables and division.
Again, I would like to suggest that fellow practitioners pay attention to the importance of explaining the basic information of Falun Gong well.
