(Clearwisdom.net) My mother is over 70 years old. Before she retired, she was a head doctor in a hospital, and is locally very well-known. She suffered from all kinds of illnesses due to overworking, including rheumatism, stomach illness, chronic enteritis, laxness, and knee joint hyperosteogeny. She could not easily walk. In particular, gall stone pain left her overwhelmed with sorrow. In 2004, she had a cholecystectomy, and her chest and back hurt for half a year afterwards.
After the 2010 Chinese New Year, her bile duct calculus relapsed. She nearly fainted from the enormous pain, and her underwear was wet with sweat. She went into a big city hospital, and was diagnosed with common duct stone, gallstone stump and calculus of the intrahepatic duct. Since she was old and weak, it was not good for her to have immediate surgery. She had to take medicine after leaving the hospital, but she was often in pain, and each day felt like a year. After many inquiries, my father heard that the son of his old schoolmate worked in the hepatology department in a big hospital in Beijing, and was an M.D. candidate. My father then decided to have the surgery for my mother done in Beijing.
My sister and I warned my mother many times that even if she went to Beijing, how painful would the surgery end up being? Could she really withstand the pain? Who could guarantee that the illness would not relapse? What's more, she would be spending a lot of money.
My mother did not say anything. Finally, she started to learn Falun Gong to give it a try. Since both she and my father had been victims in many movements of the Chinese Communist Party, and since my sister and I were persecuted because we practice Falun Gong, for a long time my mother had not wanted to learn Falun Gong.
When she read Zhuan Falun, once she read one line, the next line would shine, and she did not need to use glasses. She finished reading Zhuan Falun in this way. My mother said that it was so miraculous. I told her that it was Master who encouraged her and she should be diligent.
She studied the Fa and did the exercises for over ten days. When she went to the hospital to have a color doppler ultrasound diagnosis, a miracle took place. Her oledocholithiasis and gallstone stump were gone. This strengthened her belief in Master and Dafa. After a month, she had another color doppler ultrasound diagnosis, and the 0.8mm calculus of intrahepatic duct was gone too!
As of now my mother has completely recovered from the nearly fatal cholecystolithiasis. My family is very happy. We appreciate that Dafa saves our lives, and Master saves us compassionately. My family members have now all quit the CCP. We appreciate Master's boundless compassion!
