(Clearwisdom.net) The third day of the UN Summit in New York, September 22, 2010, happened to be the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. Falun Gong practitioners continued to gather in front of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and UN Plaza to call for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) persecution of Falun Gong. Their banners cried out: "Falun Dafa Is Good" "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" and "Bring Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou to Justice," sending a strong message to all those who saw them: "Help stop the persecution."

Falun Gong practitioner Jingyu was busy distributing brochures when a lady wearing a UN name tag told her with a smile, "I have one already." Jingyu said, "Please help stop the persecution of Falun Gong." The lady turned around and said, "I promise. I will certainly help stop the persecution."

Jingyu moved to another intersection where a few policemen were talking. One of them approached Jingyu and told her cheerfully that the next intersection would be a better location. Jingyu soon found out that the next intersection happened to be a place many UN employees would pass during their lunch time. Many people had the opportunity to receive a brochure.

It started raining in the evening. A few teenagers were stopped by the rain. One of them said, "Obama should help these Chinese. They are innocent. They are persecuted and killed for doing meditation."

Practitioners plan to continue their activities each day of the UN Summit.
