(Clearwisdom.net) My nine-year-old son has cultivated with us since he was a small lad. Although he doesn't cultivate as diligently as we do, he has a firm belief in Dafa and in Master. I want to share what happened to him last winter - something that I believe to be evidence of the miraculous, supernatural powers of Dafa.
We were just about to cross the street after I picked my son up from school, when I met an acquaintance, another parent. As we greeted to each other, having spoken a few words only, she called my son's name, both eyes opened wide and her hands covered her mouth in fear. I had my back to the street. I turned around but couldn't see my son. All I saw was his school bag lying in the middle of the street. I hurried and checked around. His was lying under the front wheels of a taxi, his head against the front wheel and one of his legs under the back wheel. He was not moving. I remembered him shaking off my hand and crossing the street on his own as I spoke with the other woman. He did not see any traffic and was hit by a fast-moving taxi in the middle of the street.
I was shocked and thought, "Is he dying?" Then I immediately realized that we are Dafa disciples during the Fa-rectification period, and Master will protect us. All of this is an illusion. We should by no means accept anything that Master has not arranged. I called to Master in my mind, and went to my son and tried to help him get up. The taxi driver and passengers exited the vehicle. The narrow street was jammed with onlookers. My son seemed to be unconscious and first did not respond to my calls. Some onlookers suggested not to move him; some offered to give us a ride to a hospital.
I was only thinking of Master, and that good or bad outcomes can be determined by just one spontaneous thought. As I was calling my son's name I held him to help him up. Gradually he regained consciousness and opened his eyes. I quickly whispered to him, "Think of Master, and ask Master to help us." With my support he slowly regained consciousness, slowly moved, and sat down at the side of the street. Then he cried out. Even his glasses were intact and still on his nose. His shoe, the laces and his sock were ruined from the car wheel running over it, but his skin was not touched. Only this one ankle was slightly swollen. Except for that, there were no other injuries. I then told the taxi driver that he could leave because the entire street would be completely jammed if we held up traffic any longer.
Master protects practitioners. We witnessed it her in this case. This accident made my son realize that cultivation is a serious affair. We can only pay off Master's grace by being more diligent in cultivation and offering people salvation. Thanks and great respect to Master.
